Game Day Thread OFFICIAL 2025 Week 16 Game Thread: NE @ BAL

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

that's a bit extreme. but his RZ INT was a horrible mistake. and he can't be allowed to resort to stupid fumbles like he just coughed up in FG position. he has to minimize those dumb things and learn to get that killer instinct like Brady had, where once you have them on the ropes with those really good balance of intermediate + short completions, keep dicing them up!
He will NEVER have the killer instinct Brady had. Nobody imo ever will. He was a true unicorn.

Is Henderson being checked for head injury? I didn't hear anything about lower body...

Pittsburgh of all teams is trending in the right direction
Could this Pats team beat Detroit on the road right now.
Crazy season

I am curious about 2 things:

1. What kind of offense McDaniels comes out with in the 2nd half with no Henderson and with injury issues at RT.
2. If Lamar is out, and how much Vrabel and Kuhr are able to adjust for that, if so.

If Gonzalez isn't going to be matched up w the opponents #1 pass catcher and/or cannot shut down or limit the other teams #1 pass catcher, I don't think he warrants a massive extension.
And what pisses me off is you KNOW dude will want a huge extension a year early. If Pats could get a 1st and second for him I’d do it. Just don’t want to pay him like a top 5 corner when he isn’t

Would be great to see the Patriots get points on this drive. They haven't scored a 3rd quarter touchdown since Week 11.

Patriots have 8 called runs, 2 QB sneaks in that, and 24 called passes.

What the **** do you want?
Like I mentioned earlier he can’t make up his mind.

You know what, the ref saw the helmet to helmet (didn't have a great angle). I can see why he threw the flag.

Gibbens being a ****ing meathead.
Except that Helmet to Helmet is only supposed to matter if that's the 1st point of contact. It wasn't. Nor did the helmets actually touch. Huntley pulled his head back to keep it from happening and their chests touched first.

Can this D hold up to Tyler Huntley?

I really don't care if we stop conventional run game. We suck at it. When Maye plays the JMD dink & dunk game, we move the ball. So keep going.

If the other WRs are open and not being targeted that’s a problem, and it is mostly on Maye and also on Josh.
If the other WRs are not targeted because they’re not open it’s on them and maybe also on Josh.

But if Hollins is open and catching it that’s his job, and it’s what would be expected from a WR1, so it’s really nbd.

Also just saw that Maye has completed 75% of his first half passes. I’m still baffled how a 75% completion rate is reason to criticize the offense just because the completions are going to one receiver. If we had the “true WR1” some on here advocate this is the situation that would result isn’t it?
Sounds good! Go Pats!
