a lot of dumb mistakes. but even so, we're fighting through.
I expect Pats to be the better team in the 2nd half and respond... but if they can't in this situation, then their season will soon be over.
When has this team shown you it can be the “better team” in the second half? It’s been awful in the second for a long time? Maybe tonight is the night, but history says probably not.
Maye's biggest problem is that he just doesn't process things fast enough. He has a tremendous arm when the line holds, or when the first option is open, but he doesn't have that innate sense of danger that Brady had, or the quick ability to go through his progressions.
He's very inaccurate in those on the run throws, he threw the same pick against Tampa that he did today, and almost did it again a couple of plays ago.
It's very concerning that he doesn't seem to learn anything from his mistakes. How many times does he need to fumble before he starts to secure the ball before he starts running?
Felt like they wanted to gift the Ravens 15 yards for a freebie field goal until Andrews did a dumb play so then they had to throw another flag against Baltimore for an illegal forward pass to wipe that mistake off the board and take the ball away from NE.
that's a bit extreme. but his RZ INT was a horrible mistake. and he can't be allowed to resort to stupid fumbles like he just coughed up in FG position. he has to minimize those dumb things and learn to get that killer instinct like Brady had, where once you have them on the ropes with those really good balance of intermediate + short completions, keep dicing them up!
Andrews caught the ball at the Baltimore 40, with the fake RTP yards, they would've been put at NE's 45. So it would've been an immediate ~62 or so yard field goal attempt freebie for Baltimore if not for Andrews being an idiot.
If Gonzalez isn't going to be matched up w the opponents #1 pass catcher and/or cannot shut down or limit the other teams #1 pass catcher, I don't think he warrants a massive extension.

Leave it. I’m saying Hollins leading the team in targets is maybe not a winning formula. He had more than twice as many targets as anyone else last week and they lost. He has the most targets this week and I don’t think that’s ideal. Go Pats, let’s hope they win.
If the other WRs are open and not being targeted that’s a problem, and it is mostly on Maye and also on Josh.
If the other WRs are not targeted because they’re not open it’s on them and maybe also on Josh.
But if Hollins is open and catching it that’s his job, and it’s what would be expected from a WR1, so it’s really nbd.
Also just saw that Maye has completed 75% of his first half passes. I’m still baffled how a 75% completion rate is reason to criticize the offense just because the completions are going to one receiver. If we had the “true WR1” some on here advocate this is the situation that would result isn’t it?

When we've faced bottom 10 QB's we've been very good, even in the 2nd half. So Huntley better not be able to outscore us. Not that Henry & Co. can't, but they better not - or the season is just a Rd. 1 knockout.
