After the Bills - Pats game…

Thank you. You know the last time I went to church regular-like was in University (Sophomore) when the residual friends/believers of mine traipsed their collective asses to Forgiveness Pews on Sunday Morning Hangover Sermon with Music Before Brunch. It was the most empathetic of times (if you're into ****ens), it was the most hypocritical of times.

All my life I have been told I am quite the ****ens although as I've gotten older the words used to say it have become increasingly colorful.

I'd help you if you could remind me where I left my glasses.

What, you're taking notes on my whereabouts to keep track now? As for the glasses, do what I do and ask your wife. She may not know either but she'll no doubt have plenty of other input.

Our boy puttin' the old in @oldrover it seems. They say it happens to all of us if we live long enough, not that I'd know anything about that.
BTW, do you know why I'm in the kitchen?

The bigger question is where you lost your spectacles ...

I can see both teams praying together for better officiating.
OK, more time in Purgatory for me.
I grew up Catholic but I  still dont understand Purgatory. I guess perpetual Purgatory is being a Jete fan

I am wondering about the "brunette" woman and what's more important in these biblical times of ours: her large wedding ring, the AI shaped wrist, the man-sized watch, her painted eyebrows, the tattoo on her left hip/leg, the color of the liquid in her glass that she intently stares at, or lastly, will she swallow the strawberry before tasting the drink.

My answer: she definitely swallows.

I'll give this a shot.

Purgatory, according to the Church, is a spiritual state in which folks who...

1) die, AND...

2) who are going to Heaven...

...must enter for a time to be purified of all human imperfection. (for "nothing unclean shall enter Heaven").

People can die with their mortal sins forgiven, but there can still be many impurities in them, specifically lesser (venial) sins and the temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven. So those imperfections are removed from their souls in purgatory.

Once that purification happens, then they are ready... to be in the presence of the Almighty in Heaven.

You'll hear many priests asking for prayers for souls in purgatory... that's because the Church believes it is a painful process.

But those souls are NOT in Hell. They will all ultimately get to Heaven. It just might FEEL a little like hell for a bit.

Hope that helps, and is correct LOL... I converted 15 years ago at age 50, and I'm still playing catch-up.

Merry Christmas!

P.S. Mods, feel free to delete my response if it's too religion-y.

I'm no Mod thankfully but you're quite a funny, sweetheart of a Pats fan.

Seems on topic for this thread. Plus, we have half-naked women in this thread too, so I feel like we have all our bases covered.

Like Charles ****ens? I mean... I knew you were older than me but... bro.

This entire definition is based on the assumption that time is linear, on some kind of forward arrow, which physicists have proven is just a human delusion. So anyone worried about Purgatory or any other faith based outcome can rest assured that it has already happened.

I know, I feel like there's a part of me that will always be stuck in the Coach Mayo era.

It's his wife and neighbor's wife -- at least, that's what I thought. I just figured @maust is a lifestyler. And haven't you heard of the adult game "hide the watch"? As for the swallowing thing, you'll have to ask him.

This happened.

Wish we’d won… but this is pretty cool.

Lmao, I saw this and was like "are these ****ers just about to chill and celebrate with the enemy?"

My dad quickly corrected me haha.

Just don't go between the white lines, no one can help you there
