What was the time of possession in just the second half?

Diggs for me has been a big disappointment this season and almost half his yards have come in 3 games (most of it being against Buffalo's 1st meeting). Unless he wakes up the next 4 games and has a good playoff run, Pats are going cut bait in the off-season and apply that money elsewhere.

Ding ding ding, there we go. One series means nothing, he’s been phenomenal.
Point is we all really don't know one way or the other do we? Their play hasn't allowed us to have a sample size. We don't know which way he will go.

Consequence? The team is on fraud alert
Can you name all of the teams that aren’t on fraud alert. Sure some have done nothing as egregious as having a 10 game winning streak snapped with a bad half of football.

We know that talent determines how players play. We know that talented players make incredible comebacks sometimes and don’t other times. We know football is a complex game of inches and no one player has determinative control over everything. We know there is no such thing as a clutch gene.

He wasn't really that bad because he made a lot of plays with his feet today. Two TDs and multiple runs for first down and more. His passing stats are only part of the picture for his play today.

That said, he did not have a good game overall.

Maye was bad today. But it happens!

Anyone who compares him to Mac/Zappe is literally ignoring what their *eyes* have shown them over the last 3 months. He is different. Use the damn Eye Test. It sounds cliched but it's true, he's capable of so much more than those two dopes.

This game was such a weird one. Such different halves !!
I don't believe the defense is as bad as they played today. Every team has an off day and today was the PAT's turn. Maye was not the only issue today as some of the posters keep saying. Yes, he had a bad game but so what. It is how he rebounds that will tell the story. Every great QB has WTF games including Brady . If this messes with his mind going forward then he is not who we thought he was, but I do not believe that will happen. I think he will bounce back, he is still very young and this is part of his growth. If anyone thought he was going to win every single game his entire career then I need whatever you're having .
There is plenty of blame to go around in this game including Maye but let's not get carried away and think he is not going to do anything in the playoffs this year.
Oh year also, the ref's were absolutely atrocious and now with the Chiefs eliminated, there is no way the want the playoffs without the Bills also. I normally do not believe in conspiracy theories but this one is too obvious not to see.

We lost to Josh Allen. We’re fine. We’ll learn, adjust & love on. ALL of our goals are still in perfect sight. On to Baltimore…
Allen is a badass QB and made plays to win the game.

Did you know that Tom Brady didn't win literally every single big game of his career! It's shocking but it's true!

Agreed.
But still waiting to hear from the handful of fans who talked about Allen and the Bills demise as happening, and inevitable. Old running QB past his window.
Weird they aren't speaking up.

Allen demise? No

Bills winning a SB? No

they seemed determined to not let Allen beat them by scrambling.
How did that work out?

It was not only the soft zone. The Pats went away from stunts, blitzes, having a spy, etc. They got a 21 point lead and completely changed their approach.

Our defense stayed too long on the field. Not sure what we were doing in the second half. Our intensity went way done. Probably thougth we had the game won. They ended up having the ball almost 11mins more than us.

This is the thing that creates such angst. Every offense can score against every defense and every defense can stop every offense.
Drives succeeding or failing come down to whether the defense can make a disruptive play. The rules are so offensively slanted that you need a sack, holding penalty, drop, turnover to get a stop against a decent offense.
5 straight drives we didn’t get that but also every time they failed a flag came out.
Our 4 non scoring 2nd half drives had sacks on 2 of them a holing penalty a drop on 3rd down, a 3rd down conversion called back by penalty and a batted down pass that would have clearly converted 4th down.

There is a fine line and sometimes things just go the other way. They went out way in the first half and totally flipped in the second.

Positives going forward: 1) No significant injuries today it seems 2) we have a huge home run threat in Henderson - can take it to the house in a flash (need to pass block better) 3) getting back Williams, Spillane and Campbell can only help. Our WRs have played better than they did today. On numerous plays in the 2nd half they did not seem anyone was open.

The Bills run game hurt us badly today. Cook was gaining big yards on first down, making conversions easy for Allen. Williams and Spillane will help there
