Game was tied. He did not NEED points. Worst case was OT. That's not as pressure packed as today.

When you need six, and you are an MVP candidate, you need to come through against a terrible defense.
So no MVP has ever failed to comeback in a 2 minute drive?

The amount of zone they played was ridiculous, what’s the point of having Gonzo, paying Davis all that money to play that soft ********. Man worked so well the first game, hopefully they learned their lesson today.
From the Patriots Postgame show they played man at their biggest rate today

No one is saying Maye sucks. What I and others are saying is that thus far Drake Maye lacks the clutch gene when you need to score with the team behind in the 4th.
Justin Herbert had FIVE 4th quarter comebacks his second year. Josh Allen had FOUR his second year, Mahomes had 2....
Maye hasn’t had 4 opportunities to. Putting your team ahead so you don’t need a 4th quarter comeback is better than being behind often and getting some.

So that win doesn’t matter.

He is 0-3 this season

He willed the team to victory in the second half and has put the team in position to close out every game since.

Well, the MVP thing is over. He's not winning. Which is ok. It will be Allen or Stafford.

And every QB has failed to comeback in the two minute drill. Of course.

That's was a tie game.
it was a game winning drive in the fourth quarter against the best second half team in the NFL. I don't understand all of the sudden concern that he can't win tight games.

Never seen so many, so excited, to draw the most negative of conclusions from such sparse evidence. At this point last year, we were 3-11.

That’s interesting. Feels like all of the Bills big plays were against zone, based off of watching the game don’t have facts.

He is 0-3 this season
Wasn’t within 1 score against the raiders. Was driving to tie the game against Pittsburgh when pop Douglas ran backward from
a 1st down.

Oh damn it, he lacks the clutch gene? I wasn’t aware of that. Can they do genetic testing for that? We should’ve known that before we drafted him.

No one's talking about "tight" games. The fact is Drake Maye has never led his team back from a 4th quarter deficit in his NFL career....something most of his contemporaries have done by this time in their careers. Does it mean he sucks? No. Does it mean he's a front runner? Perhaps. Until Drake Maye leads his team on a 4th quarter game winning drive, he shows no clutch gene

The things that people sitting on their ass who have never competed for anything significant come up with to stoke their vicarious angst never ceases to amaze me.
I can only say that not having the clutch gene is unacceptable and embarrassing.

So is Drake Maye clutch? What in his career shows he's clutch?
