So if they lost the game by the exact same score but it was back and forth all game, would that have been acceptable? What if they gave up a 21 point lead to start the game and their comeback fell short? Acceptable?
We blew a 21 pt lead at home lol why you trying to sugar coat this?
Hugeeeee red flag come playoff time
They have chance to redeem themselves though long way to go

This was not the Super Bowl, or even the playoffs. And one of the things the coaches say about Maye is that he learns quickly from negative events
He needs to be fantastic next week.

Honestly, he has slowed down the past few weeks

Beat the Jets and Phins and I don’t care what the Bills do. Pats win the Division.
What are the tie breakers ? Say we lose to Baltimore and beat Miami & NY, both finish 13-4. Both teams beat each other, is it conference wins that do it for the Pats ?

That’s not what that word means.
Im using my phone to post here so excuse me for just typing out what comes to my mind lol

The signs were there. The defense especially.

BTW, that was basically what happened in 2021. The Pats ended up losing to the Colts 27-17 after their bye week, but were down 20-0 after three quarters.

1978. Thats how many craptastic teams in Patriots history had the opportunity to NOT do that and.....this team does that. Really not a record you want to have, and I doubt we will have any footage of Vrabel high fiving the guys today.

Thats another thing. You show the post game speech after wins, show it after losses as well.
Guess it would be porn for those like you

Division record. In your scenario, NEP win the division.

Buffalo lost to Miami. Patriots would have zero losses to Mia & Jets

The Bills didn't get a Flag till the end of the 3rd qtr, which was offset. I saw MANY penalties not called on them. How many calls on Pats. ?
Including the ones that were very ticky tacky. I hate blaming the refs, but geez. it helped the Bills a lot
See the problem I always have is It’s not the amount of flags. Nor is it the “look I called six penalties on you and six penalties on the other team,” it’s the timing and the situation of the penalty. Seriously, if the referee never pulled out his flag on the Jones pass interference/interception, do you really think Buffalo would’ve had a problem with that being in an interception?

Division record is the tiebreaker, I think. We have 1 loss and the Bills have 2 now.

1. H2H [now tied]
2. Divisional record
3. Common opponents (the JEST, Lolphins, and everyone in the AFCN and NFCS)
4. Conference record

I'm not a normal pom pom waving team is great no matter what kind of fan. Don't force feed me just he good stuff.

If the Patriots lose to Miami/Jets. One of them. And Buffalo wins out, Buffalo wins the division.

Division records would be a wash

But the Patriots would have four losses in the conference to the Bills three.

Thanks ! Basically have to beat the Dolphins and Jets. Would love to win out, but Ravens are at home and playing for their playoffs lives. No guarantees, but they are better than all 3 teams, no excuses.

One of the most brutal beatdowns I've seen in recent memory. The final score is a lie. It was not close to an even match.
Uhhh. Did you notice the score at all? We played well in the first half. They played a little better in the second. How is that a "brutal beatdown"? Ridiculous.

Yep. It’s a team game. The Patriots lost to a good team after 10 game winning streak.
The good news is that this was not a playoff game. The best players hate losing more than they enjoy winning so Maye should be more motivated than ever going into the playoffs. I am confident that Vrabel will ensure that the team learns from the experience without losing confidence.
