There's actually a good chance Chiefs still make the playoffs at 7th Seed.
And that would mean they would come to NE to play 2nd Seed Pats (most likely place for us to finish)

That would be crazy & most scary - just because of the league's need to keep dying dynasties alive.
But, what an amazing way to return the balance of the NFL - have the new Pats kill the Chiefs mini-dynasty.
Have you seen the Broncos schedule? They have at least 2 losses in there.

I think Stroud's limited by his coaching.

He has traits, and makes some really special plays sometimes. I don't think he's a superstar by any means, but he's not like, replacement-level.

I think Stroud is similar to Love in terms of what you can expect from him. They also have Nico, like their offense shouldn't be that anemic, which is pointing towards coaching ineptitude as you're suggesting. They are a clear example of: not being regularly put in position to succeed.

Luckily, Reid was simply more incompetent last night.

The Chargers could still choke away a playoff spot. Nothing about them impresses me. You never get the feeling they will get it done. Eagles will beat them good tonight.

The chargers collapsing does worry me a little. They have a very tough schedule remaining, that is pretty much the chiefs only shot at the postseason is winning out and hoping the chargers drop a couple more. Chiefs have basically no shot at passing buffalo or Houston with the tiebreakers

Herbert has a broken hand?? Not good.

I think Carter is out for the Eagles tonight? Not sure they will need him.

Chargers have been garbage for years. The best teams during the Herbert years were when he first started. Since then, the talent has been drained and now they have injuries.

That was Pretty awesome to see. Id love for Kelce to decide to play another year and get his monkey ass beat down even more. But zero chance he’ll want to do that. Rice getting drilled by a speeding object was also very satisfying
Kelce will be carrying her suitcases next fall.

It was about time those garbage plays that Mahomes does paid the price. And anyone else notice every time Kelce takes a hit, he's slower to get up?

Gave up on the game and went to bed in the 3rd quarter. Had not watched Stroud before this year. He just seemed to miss a number of open receivers.

We have to gain a game on Denver somehow. They play GB at home next week, and they'll lose that one. If we can we sweep Buffalo, @Baltimore, @Jets, and Phins, we'd get the #1 seed, but there's a good chance we lose one of the next two, meaning Denver would have to lose another one.

Jacksonville is not winning in Denver in mid-December (week 16), and neither are the Chargers in week 18. In week 17 the Broncos go to KC, our best chance for a loss. Hopefully KC wins the next couple vs the Chargers and Tennessee so that their ship is still afloat for week 17. At this point I could care less about facing KC in a playoff game, they're beatable but they have to beat Denver in the meantime.

Chiefs have a good shot if they win out with a 10-7 record.

Hard to be scared of the Chiefs, as hurt as they are. They have, I think, 4 linemen out. Mahomes was just dumping the ball off the entire first half.

There defense is nicked up too. If Houston was competent, not good, just competent, they would have hung 30 on them easily

Chiefs D played very well in the second half. Stroud had immediate pressure on almost every drop back.
Houston is competent, but their Oline just got ran over in the second half.

This is an interesting way to say 'choked the game away', but you do you.
Joe Burrow since returning from injury: 49/81.

More of your goofball numbers Skippy?

Burrow has only played in a total of 73 NFL games and is 41 - 31 - 1. Looks like you gotta a shortfall of 57 games there. He only played 39 NCAA games.

Are you including pee wee football too? Keep the comedy coming.

I'm surprised he didn't retire two years ago. He was flirting with it and every NFL player has basically said "as soon as the idea enters your mind, it's about time you hang them up."

He was too busy flirting with other things.

He’s referring to Burrow’s completion percentage since he came back from injury, although I think it’s 49/82.

Reading is hard. You hang in there, slugger.
