I did not have "C.J. Stroud outduels Patrick Mahomes in a mid-off to eliminate the Chefs from winning their division" on my 2015 bingo card.

Jolly good result eh?

You have to give Miami credit for going on a run. They could have easily folded down the stretch. I'm feeling better about the game being in Foxboro. We obviously will be favored and should win, but when it comes to Miami, you just never know.

And I disagree with you. People said the same thing about us when we went to KC with Brady and wrecked them in the AFC Championship. They also said that when we went to Pittsburgh, and San Diego. I want no part of Maholmes in the playoffs. I'll roll the dice with Nix.

They said the same thing about us when the Titans came into Foxboro and beat the Pats in the division round ending Brady's career with the Patriots on a pick six by Logan Ryan. The Chief looks more like the 2019 Patriots than the 2018 Patriots. Last year's Chiefs were more like the 2018 Patriots because everyone thought they would lose to the Ravens or Bills and they still went to the Super Bowl.

Problem is that in 2007, Brady wasn't as mobile as Maye. That counts for something.

Brady had some of the best pocket awareness of any QB in NFL history. He could avoid the rush better by stepping up two feet in the pocket than most of the elite mobile QBs could running outside the pocket. Plus he had Moss and Welker and not Boutte and Diggs (no disrespect to Boutte and Diggs).

But the Giants dominated the NFC in the playoffs to get to the Super Bowl. It wasn't like they got lucky and won games they got outplayed to get to the Super Bowl.

Chargers ain't winning tonite.
This is a get right game for the Eagles.

If these were the career stats of anyone not named Mahomes the consensus would be that he’s been on the decline for years.

Let’s hope for an extremely cold day.

I’ve gone on record already as saying this is the game I think we lose in the run in. Phins always find a way to beat the Pats, even when they’re a bad team. If it’s not a game for HFA Vrabes might rest the starters?

I think this Pats team will beat the Bills and the Ravens. The Jete are a joke and will probably be fighting for the #1 draft pick anyway.
I think the the Dolphins normally find a way to beat the Pats in Miami (not this year) but not in Foxboro in January.

There's actually a good chance Chiefs still make the playoffs at 7th Seed.
And that would mean they would come to NE to play 2nd Seed Pats (most likely place for us to finish)

That would be crazy & most scary - just because of the league's need to keep dying dynasties alive.
But, what an amazing way to return the balance of the NFL - have the new Pats kill the Chiefs mini-dynasty.

Yeah, plus the Tua led Dolphins usually wilt in cold weather. The only reason they are even winning now is because they hit the cake part of their schedule. Their last four games are all against playoff teams (or likely playoff teams). I expect them to be 6-10 or 7-9 when they come into Foxboro.

Mahomes have been in SB's with those declining Stats: so there's that.

Mahomes was under siege the entire game. His receivers and media whore tight end did him no favors with those drops and tipped balls into Houston's arms. The plays were there. I don't agree with that 4th down call on their own side of the field. That was Andy's call.
Bronco's nation is celebrating KC's fall more than this board btw.

Which team do you think draws more eyeballs going forward?

NE or KC?

The Chiefs didn't just lose to the Texans. Patrick Mahomes threw 3 picks and 0 TDs. That's just embarrassing. They are now 6-7.

Can't wait to see how the mediots spin this awful performance! Some of those blowhard idiots will still insist the Chiefs are Superbowl favorites... as long as they can squeak into the postseason.

They got him up the middle a lot and rushed 4 to do it. Maye isn't affected much more by either inside or outside pressure. Sure Brady was a pocket master but his true kryptonite was the rush up the middle with four.

That was Pretty awesome to see. Id love for Kelce to decide to play another year and get his monkey ass beat down even more. But zero chance he’ll want to do that. Rice getting drilled by a speeding object was also very satisfying

I’ve never seen a team struggle as badly as the KC Chiefs have done since the Hill trade. Had they played in any other era, they would’ve never even made the playoffs. It’s mind boggling they’ve won 2 Super Bowls. Just tells you how bad the NFL has been since 2020.
