Sure. I just think he ends up going in the top 10.

He's good enough player imo, i just think the drsft process is going to drag him down. I think he will end up getting labelled an " H-Back " and devalued because of it.

Tommy mentioned IOL as well, kind of where I was going with that. Overall though I'm not in disagreement with you, I'm just priororitizing different positions over TE. I think OL and LB are greater areas of need and there could still be worthy talent there. If the Pats brain trust thinks a TE represents the better value and Sadiq is there, he'd certainly a great selection. I doubt he drops that far though

I think there will be good value at IOL on day 2 of the draft, there always is, but linebacker could fall
perfectly to them, just not Edge. I think there will be a run on Edge because its a strong class for them, but some really good off the ball linebackers, Sonny Styles and Anthony Hill could both be available in the 20's, and both are great prospects who would fit teally well in this defense.

Not interested in paying either of them top 10 WR money. In fact we need to be looking at the contracts very closely. Maye will make a top 30 guy look like top 5, meanwhile we have contracts coming up that are going to cost plenty and other holes to fill. AJ Brown gets released somehow and wants to come here to re-establish his bonafides with a commensurate contract that's fine but there's Gonzo and then Maye the following year and plenty of holes to fill. The Pats look like they've got plenty of space but some of that carryover is needed for future contracts

Nah, Prater's been there all year - he's been, well, Prater-ish. Better off the sauce, but still shaky in big spots.
