It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I've only been to a few NFL stadiums (Foxboro and FedEx Field in Maryland), but it seems like a lot of them are in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by not the best parts of their cities. Are they all like that or are there ones that are in central locations?
The Bengals made a Huge mistake resigning Tee Higgins: I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes available in a year or too. They have really blown their window the last two years.
Don’t forget the part about when he didn’t like that the State of MA would not build infrastructure he agreed with the state of RI to build it thereGillette initially was supposed to be in Boston..however local politics and just the landscape of the city wouldn't allow for it..Boston is my home born and raised..beautiful city but a congested city and some of the worst traffic in the country.
RKK initially got with investors and sponsored by South Boston based Gillette to build the new stadium in Foxborough where the old one was..
I think they wanted both. But when they missed one and the other's pricetag was going higher than they wanted, they realized they could afford to go higher on Williams.Ok that's better. Less trolling and more of the football talk please.
With that said I HIGHLY doubt the Patriots were going after Higgins over Williams. They sure didn't pay Williams like a contigency plan.
Yeah, I think you're right about it being where they can find cheap real estate. I like the ones that are easy to get to and near stuff.A lot of them build in areas where real estate is cheaper.
There are some really well located teams though.
Tennessee is right on the river and an extremely easy walk to Broadway Street which is basically country music Bourbon St.
Superdome is also right on the canal and a couple blocks from the real Bourbon St. I think New Orleans has changed a little since I went and while Bourbon St will always be a tourist spot I think the built up another area of the city for nightlife too.
Vegas stadium is right across from Luxor on one end of Las Vegas Blvd.
Buffalo doesn't really have anything but Duff's Wings is right across the street lol.
Other than the wrong city the Meadowlands is actually fairly well located.
Chicago is in a decent spot in the city or at least we were able to get a real close and nice Airbnb.
Indy was built to be convenient. I even think some hotels have underground access so you don't even have to get cold. Actually that might be Minnesota both are good.
I like Foxboro the best though one block from my brother's house.
Just to name a few off the top of my head.
The NY Jets were smart to build their stadium on the west side of Manhattan. Made all the difference to that franchise.Roughly half of NFL stadiums are within their team's city limits, about a half dozen or so are >10 miles out
That is right, also don't forget about where the team was also going to be moved to Hartford and Curran mentioned St. Louis was the other destination.. imagine commuting to Rhode Island on 95S.. or I90 to Hartford for games..Don’t forget the part about when he didn’t like that the State of MA would not build infrastructure he agreed with the state of RI to build it there
MA then agreed to give him the infrastructure (Thank God) so he reneged on RI and build in Foxboro
Agreed and that Bengals team recently went to the SB a few seasons ago and had an excellent defense that season..Yeah, Higgins is a big part of their offense, but they have already shown you cannot have an all world passing game and a historically bad defense and win anything.
They could have easily gotten several high draft picks including one or two first rounders for Higgins when they franchised him. It could have turned around their defense quickly (granted they probably would have blown the picks like they did with this year's #1 pick).
He was SO cheap he paid for the stadium himself. God, you're an idiot. EVERYONE knew that the Hartford.move was a negotiation ploy. That is right, also don't forget about where the team was also going to be moved to Hartford and Curran mentioned St. Louis was the other destination.. imagine commuting to Rhode Island on 95S.. or I90 to Hartford for games..

So take your campaign to try and paint the best owner in Boston professional sports as a cheap carpet bagger and shove it.
Good points Rain. That's probably the most frustrating thing with the offense.. is that we can't seem to run the ball at will on smallish defensive fronts.. Campbell and onwenu are supposed to be road graders in the run game.. the short yardage situation especially in the red area is an issue.. the offense seems to be excellent on 3rd and longs.. but lacking on 3rd and 1..As much as I want an elite WR, I’d rather have an elite OL. I want to run the ball at will on these smaller defenses and open up the passing game. Keep trying to find a WR in the draft.
If you didn’t intend on saying Kraft is cheap, I will. He’s always been cheap and was carried by Parcells, Bledsoe, BB and Tom Brady. He was never going to Hartford and it was only a negotiation ploy to make Massachusetts cave and give them a better deal. Fans sure thought Bobby was a hero. He’s always been about optics.Ken,
Was this post directed at me?.. I'm suprised at you ken.. I never said anything about RK being cheap.. I take it he must be personally sending you checks... for your love affair for him.. he's a gracious owner.. we all know this..
I wonder if you both visit any Florida massage spas together.. or meet for bologna and cheese sandwiches..
Get a grip! It's a forum ken!
Personally I think.. yeah I'll say it.. he has some frugalness in him..I still believe he's a gracious owner and does alot for alot of good causes..however we mustn't forget the bologna sandwiches, the run down massage spa in Florida, last in cash spending.. optics definitely agreed.. he's a business man.. he knows how to ******** and play nice with the public.. Ken just somehow took my post that mentioned nothing of the sort Personally.. LOL..If you didn’t intend on saying Kraft is cheap, I will. I had ST’s for 30 years that would have suckedThat is right, also don't forget about where the team was also going to be moved to Hartford and Curran mentioned St. Louis was the other destination.. imagine commuting to Rhode Island on 95S.. or I90 to Hartford for games..
