Patriots Player Departure Keion White traded

Call it whatever you want but the agenda is clear. One of the biggest Bill boys on this site lamenting the loss of a guy with half a sack and three tackles in a year where we are 10-2 is about as transparent as it gets.
There is no agenda. You are lost in your BB hate.

Agreed. A guy who was a starter in training camp, lost his job to Chaisson and from what local reporters mentioned was his attitude was the number 1 issue.. when Vrabel said riding entitlements white was just that..
Lots of players who "didn't fit In" here are fine elsewhere, some as starters, some as backups. Some will be even better when they are healthy.

It is NOT an indictment of Vrabel to believe that he got rid of good players or even that he didn't get the value that we thought he should have insisted on.

It is only an indictment if Vrabel didn't adequately fill the position.

I only saw him on one play last night doing his usual power move. He almost got to Young, but he got the pass off. Nobody should care about almost getting to the QB.

Vrabel screwed up White. This kid was set for a breakout year and Vrabel failed to develop him. If he wasn't in the plans he should have done more because pass rush is our biggest weakness and very well could be what holds us back.
Kid has been set up for a breakout year since he was signed. Problem is he couldn’t break out of an unlocked jail.

Well said and valid on everything. He was given the benefit of the doubt as when Vrabel came in he identified guys that he could maximize. Drake, gonzo, Barmore to mention a few.. white was a guy we all had high hopes for.. seems as if he wasn't buying in.. here. That is a personal problem for the player.. all the other guys on the 53 and PS are developing and buying in.. I absolutely would have liked it to work for white here.. as had he developed and had the right attitude he could have been a force here. Oh well..
Well said. He had plenty of chances here. Made a good first impression, flashed a couple of times but never really progressed and seemed to cop an attitude. Maybe he was used to being BMOC and couldn’t shed the entitlement until getting traded gave him a wake-up call? Whatever, he’s history to us now. I wish the best, or at least enough success that we keep that pick…

The all time single season sack record is the '84 bears with 72 in a 16 game season. That's 4.5 sacks per game. If you don't get close to the QB more than 5 times a game (even if all 5 are converted to sacks) then your pass defense is going to get shredded. Pressures/hurries/disrupting timing of throws is absolutely critical to pass defense, even on plays not converted to sacks.

Yeah because we got so much out of him here. The transparent agenda some of you on here carry is ridiculous. It looks even worse when we are 10-2 and in the 1 seed in the conference to be lamenting over Bill's long lost draft busts.

What does that even mean?

Then an Indictment it is, because he didn’t.

Agreed. He showed some potential his rookie season and had a hot star to 2024 and faded down the stretch.. entitlement definitely describes white.. all players have egos and confidence as that's what helps get them to the NFL. But anyhow.. wish him the best of luck in SF.

Not Keion White??? Say it ain't so??? When did this happen???

But has Landry?

Ummm Chaisson has been a pretty big upgrade over White....so not sure what you're saying
Chaisson and Landry have been a bit banged up/injured and playing thru. the team is thin behind them, even if they like the upside to Ponder and Swinson.
it would have been nice if White could have given them 15-20 snaps per game at max effort.
