A road win. But that’s fine, now we are scared of the 2-10 Giants.Only in this fanbase could a win be 'a step back'.
I think some of them think we will still end up 6-11

9 straight wins and they have told us what was wrong with every one of them and how it will catch up to us.Exactly. 12 straight games* and 6 wins on the road. Big time injuries on both sides of the line. I don't care who it's against or how it looks. It's another win stacked. Let's see how much of a "step back" this win is when we get the 1 seed on conference record tiebreakers
*games, not wins
Exactly. Being able to recover from being down 10-0 on the road after having your QB throw a pick-6, and still finding a way to win when you play less than your best is a step in the right direction to me. Did the cowboys take a big step back yesterday because they played poorly at times? What are we doing?Only in this fanbase could a win be 'a step back'.
I’m eagerly awaiting the day aesthetics of play factors into the standings alongside wins and losses. These posts will help me with the post game break downs and understanding the good losses and bad wins betterI came to post just this as well.
10 and friggin’ 2.
Our quarterback sneak is ineffective, and Drake is always too high. We struggle to run for a single yard. McD is aware of this and must devise a better scheme. We were repeatedly stopped by the league’s 31st-ranked run defense on the goal line. That’s embarrassing. Please, give us a naked bootleg, a Philly special, or something completely different from what we’ve seen. Westover blocks like a piece of paper. Just figure it out. We must fix this aspect of our game before the playoffs.
Reportedly one of the radio commentators thought Maye took a shot to the head early on. Can't say I noticed it. But maybe could explain his erratic start.I'm with you in wondering what was wrong with Maye. It was as if he was trying to throw a ball he hadn't practised with and suddenly his biggest strength -- touch and accuracy -- had gone.
Agreed. Cincy was the wrong team to go no-huddle against. Their offense was the threat not their defense. Games they won they outscored the opponent; didnt actually beat them. The more time our O was on the filed the less they had a chance. No huddle makes your defense more tired. It also gives the other team more possessions. Hardly any team uses it anymore.
I do think the goal line/ redzone offense needs to be worked on. Failing to score TD's will cost a team in the postseason. Same with the red zone D.
The pass rush isn't very good
Might have taken a blow to the head, I've never seen him throw such a bad pass unless it slipped out of his handIf you need a tough yard to gain where the defense is all in on preventing the run, do not give the ball to Rham right up the gut under any circumstance. He doesn't fall forward, accelerate, or juke in the backfield fast enough to rely on him in crucial moments.
Call me crazy, but Maye played like he was quarterbacking under the influence (qui). He eventually sobered up. Threw some great passes to Douglas, who is still engaged in an eternal battle with the turf monster.
Injuries suck and could even derail our season, but I'm curious to see if some shuffling of players will result in a line that can run block better than we have seen.
It was crazy that on a couple of those plays he ended up backwards. No chance of pushing into the end zone.If you need a tough yard to gain where the defense is all in on preventing the run, do not give the ball to Rham right up the gut under any circumstance. This. Whenever you loose your best defensive player upfront it's going to be noticeable. Buffalo lost ed Oliver and thier defensive line is pathetic against the run.. I'm never going to complain about an ugly win.. any fan who forgets go back and youtube some of those early patiots they won ugly.. I'll take 10-2 all day..The Pats were coming off two 4-13 seasons in a row, but we expect them to whoop team's asses now? No team is doing that this season. We are seeing many similarities to the early dynasty days were games were close, offense stalled, but the defense stopped a last minute drive.
Run defense is starting to leak while the Pats lack of push in the run game is a major concern.
Can Douglas please stop tripping over himself? He's got the Ellis Hobbs disease.

This. They are learning from winning as opposed to learning in losses. There is, indeed.
It's a paradox:
- Injuries and poor play decrease the chances the team has of making a deep run in the playoffs
- Overcoming adversity increases the chances of making a deep run in the playoffs
Wasn’t the end zone pick vs TB immediately after a hit to the head?Might have taken a blow to the head, I've never seen him throw such a bad pass unless it slipped out of his hand
