Stick to philosophy your online medical opinion still needs a little work.

Just here to remind everyone we have 10 wins. And 10 wins is ten wins. Whether Campbelll comes back or not...the arrow is definitely pointing up for this franchise. Said it for two decades, our best chance of success starts with the offensive line. We have and are addressing that. We have a lockdown corner. We have a young QB in his second year with all the tools and intangibles. Captain obvious says lets shore up the goal line offense. A bit somber in the locker room. How they respond to the Giants....who will be another tough out...will add to the maturity and growth. Time to get back to work...and of course be thankful!
I think that's right. The team has advanced already well beyond my expectations, I think beyond any reasonable expectations. I think the year is a success already. Any additional improvements or accomplishments are gravy - Turkey gravy, I suppose - at this point.

As a highly trained physician with 30 years of experience, I can definitively say that Campbell suffered a leg injury in the vicinity of the knee.

Anything more is just speculation until MRI results come back.

I also think he will live, one way or the other.
So your opinion is worth no more than anybody else's, I take it, pending this MRI, which makes all that experience quite irrelevant. If we were to abandon speculation here, there would be no forum.

You simply can't tell by a player's immediate reaction how severe an injury is. If you've watched football for as long as most people here have watched football, then you have to know that.

Maybe it's the way You post: but boy they're omninos...slow Keystrokes and all.

I'm signing off till this afternoon when I expect there will be actual medical news about these injuries and not be jerked around by rumors.

Seems like this is getting reported across the board at this point.

If he’s back by playoffs that’s a major relief considering what we were anticipating.

We want the #1 Conference Record: the Division Winners in the AFC are not scary at all. Love our chances at home against any of them. The Chiefs are currently on the outsides looking in but are still a very good Team. Jaguars - Chargers - Steelers - Haven't won nothing yet Lamar all make me yawn.

The Patriots are undefeated on the road. But please don't let that interfere with your panic attack.

IR with a chance to return would be excellent news in light of the situation. I was worried that his availability next season could be impacted in the event of an ACL repair. Still hoping for confirmation that that isn’t the case.

Well, fingers crossed, but it looks like we may have avoided catastrophe on his knee injury. Hoping both him and Wilson only miss 4-5 games and come back week 17ish for a tuneup game or two.

What's wrong with being jerked??

An experienced orthopedist can usually diagnose a complete ACL tear on physical exam.
For a partial tear however MRI is necessary

No one's opinion is worth jack ****. There is simply no reliable way of predicting the type, extent and magnitude of injury without an MRI, and anyone who pretends otherwise is full of it.

Speculate all you want. But that's all it is. Speculation.

Fortunately Campbell's arms are too short to present much of a target, and were not apparently injured.
