Maye has to stop throwing INTs, that was the worst INT of the year for him.
I know it's frustrating, however, Layne, Namath, Grogan and Plunkett all threw more career picks than TD's.

Brady had four picks in a game six times and Montana had three picks and a fumble in the '81 NFCCG before The Catch.

So it's gonna happen, what counts is who wins at the end.

10-2 is elite
Yes but I meant beating great to elite teams does not just happen quickly. They are beating the dregs. Next step is beating Buffalo & Baltimore. Then, win a playoff game or two.

I understand that they beat Buffalo & TB on the road. But bigger tests are awaiting.

Yeah, that's 5 this year alone. I hope he's thrown that many TDs too. Oh that's right.

Jesus.
"Agreed, yes, you are wise. He should choose to have zero int.s this year. Somebody get on that."
It is 6 now, and it was a HORRIBLE throw. He’s my favorite player, but I don’t excuse bad plays.

I wouldn’t say the team is elite (despite the record) but they’re good. I don’t think there are any elite teams in the AFC this season
You are grasping at semantics to remain pessimistic? I’ll never understand going through life like that

That's exactly right.

This went from a team that ******** lucked their way into 4 wins last year (realistically should have been 1 win) to a team that can overcome losing their best defensive player, a shaky start by their star QB, losing their entire left side of the line, their best special teamer, their best run defender for a long stretch, their veteran right tackle for a quarter, and whatever the **** else happened to get a road win.

Good teams find a way to beat bad teams. You'd think the last 20+ years would have taught everyone this. We knew this was an incomplete roster, they're in the middle of a full rebuild. The only way we find out if they're elite or not is determined by how they do in the postseason.

They were bad. They're now good. In one season. I'm going to enjoy that.

They beat Buffalo in Buffalo.

Other than a bad game 1 and a fluke of turnovers costing them a game when they otherwise thoroughly outplayed the Steelers, they have beaten everyone on the schedule.
Are you saying losing to “better” teams would make them more “elite”

There is an argument for using Chism more. Have that Edelman/Amendola thing of getting open very quickly. One issue with our WRs is that they take a bit of time to uncover.
With each passing week, it seems that argument should have been left in the preseason with decades of training camp binkies.

And who knows maybe we can even win a ring this season. would be great

Nope. I think we’re clearly in the top three of the AFC. Maybe even the best at this point. We are a good team but I think there’s room for the team to get even better.
They why go out of your way to make it a point to object to the 10-2 team being characterized as elite?

Elite is determined in the postseason.

This is from the ESPN site. How do you explain the passing yards discrepancy?
