SAS is an unhinged narcissist. First off Cam has been doing everything he could to discredit Drake Maye which kind of sucks because Maye grew up idolizing him but the dumber thing is Maye’s “I don’t know what show they’re on” comment wasn’t that bad in context. Somehow Stephen A spun this into an attack on sports media and disloyalty to athletes or something.

No one has done more damage to the sports media landscape than Stephen A Smith.



On the positive side, everyone hates us again so it is good to be back.

I couldn’t care less what Stephen A has to say.
I can’t stand his face. Has to be the most punchable face in North America.
He’s a shock jock, doesn’t know football at all.
Don’t watch anything with him in it. My IQ lowers at the sight of him, and I don’t have much to spare.

I love it!! The last few seasons at this time.. the only talk about the patiots was draft talk.. now we have given the media talking heads something to talk about..

Players,coaches, front office people they see and hear everything.. I remember BB used to want news paper clippings of what sports writers and opposing teams would say to use for a motivational tool..

When everybody loves Drake he saw an opportunity to against the grain and get attention, called him a liar no less. Goes back to that old saying...doesnt matter if you love me or hate me as long as your talking about me. Stephen A. is popular more for the hate than love.


And if anyone is a liar its him after his denial of using the "N" word during a broadcast.

All this does is show the generational divide. Maye's generation rarely watches cable entertainment. It really is as simple as that. SAS is a clown. Hell, I barely watch it, so I had no idea Cam was on there. I'm more aware of his role on his own podcast.

SAS is paid to have hot takes. Personally I think he’s phenomenal at what he does, had some epic rants over the years just for the purpose of entertainment. The majority of the time I think his takes are ridiculous, but there’s a strong chance he doesn’t even believe what he’s saying half the time. He’s just putting on a show. And remember it’s good to have haters. What kind of Pats fan wants to live in a world where everyone has nothing but nice things to say about us?
