Hollins is the leader advertised

He’s really like a talented smaller Tight End out there. Loves to block, and seems to get open often. That bomb he caught from Maye was a thing of beauty. 30 catches so far, on pace for 50+. Tough not to love the guy, he’s willing to do anything to win. Seems like he helped turn the WR corps from a weakness to a strength.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey...but good.

Not sure I agree. He’s not clearly below Boutte. I know, shocking I’d say that isn’t it?

Hollins has 20 catches on 23 targets. He’s ahead of both Diggs and Boutte on catch percentage, well ahead of Boutte on about the same utilization. But he’s disrespected on this board while Boutte is a favorite. Go figure. Seems Josh and Vrabes know Hollins is reliable, when they go to him he’s most likely to catch it.

ESPN has these stats for them:

This information is very helpful, thanks! It really shows Hollins excellent reliability.

…However, as a completely unimportant point, the nerd in me has to ask: do the ESPN stats really post 10 decimal points in their catch percentages? Sounds like the ESPN stats people need to cut down on their coffee intake

Sounds more like AI has replaced a good portion of their stats department.

When I think about Barefoot Mack Hollins I feel like the late Jimmy Swaggart after his transgression. I have sinned.

Next up, Henderson.

Barefoot best year as a Pro came under McDaniels: looks like he might reach that plateau again.

No. That’s what happens when you do a lazy cut and past from google sheets on an iPad.

Hollins has been an excellent addition to this team : elite blocking, key catches, leadership. There is a lot to like about the player.

On a related note : shouldn’t Hollins be the template of ‘how to get vet FAs to covet Foxborough’ in years ahead ? The pitch would be : look at this guy’s production in our system with this very young QB on a rookie deal !

Sure wish he could hauled in that bomb.

Good play by the Jets DB.

He's the kind of player that makes you question how much you truly know about the game.

I mean I'm not going to pretend to be some football savant but he seemingly does so many little things to impact a game and a play that we just don't see. And all the little things just add up to more opportunities for him that he just keeps getting reps so the ball eventually finds its way to him.

And with Drake throwing to him and Josh's offense that he already knew this is probably going to be a career year for him.

Josh McDaniels has turned him into a dangerous player: not even Josh Allen had him this good. He's going to surpass his previous McDaniels OC numbers Barefoot have been Great. I was so wrong about him Barefoot does so much on the Offense too. When Boutte comes back Maye will be playing catch with our Third WR Barefoot.

Hes been better than i expected. Figured he wouldn’t pick up big numbers while diggs/boutte/henry/pop are all healthy but the 2 games without boutte hes been a beast in the receiving game too!

He is a good safety valve for Maye's erratic high throws. If he was 3 inches shorter some throws might be caught by the safety in the back.

Great pick up .

And see how Maye is spreading the wealth . Fantastic . DCs have no clue on how to defend this motley group. Only way is to pressure the QB and for that you need Myles garrett .
