JT’s breakdown of the Bucs game is a thing of beauty.

“A thing of beauty” is certainly his most frequent comment.

And he ends it with some added value, with breakdowns of Henderson’s two house calls.

Lots of good insight. I watched it right after watching Hoyer and Zo do their breakdown and found that their insights into the play designs, like on the bomb to Hollins, helped inform my viewing of JT’s breakdown.

Lots of good stuff!

In fairness and retrospect, as good as Gronkowski was, the knock on him coming out was that he was made of glass.

He was made of glass. *shrug* Still worth it. (And I was not a Sergio Kindle guy haha)
BS. He wasn’t made of glass

The hip drop tackle was outlawed ONLY after he retired because it was the only way they could bring him down.
Hack-a-Shack was brought into nfl as a result of him and Ommissioner & refs allowed it to go on.

He played in 100 of a possible 144 regular season games with New England. Missed the entire 2013 and 2016 playoffs.

That's made of glass. Sorry.

He missed a lot of games due to TJ Ward launching himself right into Gronks knees. I don’t care if it was deemed a legal hit or not, it was a typical Ward dirty play. I don’t care if you’re made out of diamond, no one is walking away from that hit.

Yep I mentioned it in the Jets thread.

Maybe.
You don't get to average almost 6 games missed/yr unless you're a hall of fame talent. He was.
Why can't people just admit he was injury-prone? Especially considering it was his one big knock coming out of college - and it proved out in his career.

It doesn't make him any less good.

We're human, we're death-prone.

Being a football player (not a ****y, mouthy ***** fan) he rarely avoided contact.

That’s it right there.
It was his playing style that made him injury prone.
He’ not a big slot WR like Kelce. He was an incredible blocker and never shied away from contact.
So in that regard you can say he contributed to his own injuries, but it was that same playing style that made him so damn good.

He had the knee injury from a dirty hit, the ankle injury from a dirty hip-drop tackle, and the arm injury & resulting infection/surgeries from a weird PAT play. Other than those I don't recall him missing time. The problem was they impacted 3 post season runs.

This is possibly the stupidest assessment I've ever encountered. The abuse Gronk suffered would reduce the average athlete to dust in less than 4 games.

I gotta say - I really enjoy Romo as a commentator, even if he gets stuff wrong sometimes and elongates syllables. Imho dude's hilarious.... "I didn't love it, BUT I LOVE IT!! I LOVE IT!!" "DTF"
