One thing that sticks out about Fields so far is that he hasn't thrown a pick yet this year, and he's thrown only one in his last 19 games (15 starts and almost 400 attempts). That is pretty dang impressive.
Yep, the jests are so bad they can't tank correctly. They suck at sucking.Jete manage to “win” the toilet bowl battle against the Browns, and of course still lose because they can’t tank properly.
I'll take my chances with Gonzalez on Allan Lazard.Sounds like very strong odds that Garrett Wilson won’t be playing Thursday against the Pats due to re-injuring his knee.
Garrett Wilson re-injured the same knee that kept him out of two games

Fair pts for this year, but last year Fields had a higher (assume you mean) YPA at 6.9, around league average. This year is 6.5, which isn't terrible (I mean Nix is 6.0). There's also a silly amount of luck involved with almost 400 pass attempts at 65% comp rate at ~6.75 YPA and only having 1 INT, and that was on a flukey tipped ball that went straight up in the air. That's a fine stat for him to pitch as a future backup - in fact if he wants to take a huge pay cut next year the Jets could do worse for a backup - or as another tankable QB should they decide to stalk Arch Manning in 2026.
But I'd guess he's throwing a lot more short low risk passes - and throwing anything longer into the ground or stands, as he's got LESS THAN HALF the passing yards that Maye has
Field's average completion is also about 6 YPC right now - whereas Maye is literally 50% higher averaging 9 YPC, which is pumped up by some of those nice long completions of course - but that's where the risk of an INT rises, so that's a trade off we're happy to see when it's working
No doubt the Jets need one of the good new QBs but I don't necessarily look at the Jets and blame Fields for another bad season - it's everyone.

Obv he had the INT today and a horrid horrid game(but... won?!?). I never said he's anywhere near good.
Hey you can't argue with Justin Fields' stats in the big win against the Browns today
6 for 11 for a 53 yard day. Jets fans are sure to let that go to their heads.
The Pats won't be caught unprepared for the Jets but sometimes when the players know the owners want them to lose, they give their all to get their next job and say FU to the ownerClowns can’t even tank right.
You gotta love the Jets elimination party pre-Thanksgiving.BTW, a win Thursday mathematically eliminates the Jets from the AFC East!
Should have demanded he be traded to us before the deadline! The Jete had 42 net passing yards, 169 yards total offense and 61 penalty yards, yet STILL beat Cleveland. Myles Garrett must be pulling his hair out.
