Reactions: SVN
Knox will get votes over Bill into the Hall because Steelers.

Edit: My bad I read that as Noll loool. He is already in the HOF

FWIW......I think I am the opposite. I dont want to look at a dog and think of my former dog (who are like children to me). I dont want a copy because the original meant so much and cant be replaced.

Not me, I would take 10 more just like him.

I was watching a news show last night and one of the hosts was whining about this. She tried to use a clone of Walt Coleman reference so she could take a shot at Brady for a legitimate call that happened 25 years ago.

In the recent past I heard her take a shot at Brady for deflating footballs, which didn't actually happen and was 10 years ago.

Unfortunately, the stain of cheating has been left on this team forever. How much of that is on Bill?

I'm sure my wife would love to clone this guy...

You need to consult with @signbabybrady I'm certain he could answer this for you

All of it. His arrogance led him to think he could violate the spirit of the rule but get away with it by not violating the letter of the law.

That didn’t work so well for us.

Yup. Lawyering up that memo was not his job.

I like Joe's answer better

I blame Goodell more than anyone on this - he and the rest of the owners were (are still) insanely angry and jealous that BB and Brady were literally clogging up their rightful turn at Super Bowl championships by going there nearly every other year and walking away with more than half of them.

BB was doing what teams had always done and do today (note that coordinators STILL cover their mouths when calling in plays today) - and I don't even blame Mangini for calling out BB on adhering to the letter of the rule - it was Goodell who purposefully decided to go nuclear in all those situations - even going as far as to ignore simple physics on DeflateGate

After that every single Pats hating NFL fan was never going to be convinced of anything otherwise - Belichick was just a foil for them. But you're correct - the stink is still there - but it's Goodell's stink.

I'd love to see both Brady and Belichick tell us what they really think of Goodell and all of that in hindsight. They still want to make money from the NFL so it seems like they are biding their time - but I think there's more they want to say.

I still keep seeing talk of "Belichick to Miami" as Coach/GM following them ousting Grier, paving the way for a parting of the ways with UNC

As laughable as that is (though you KNOW Bunny would LOVE to be Princess of South Beach) perhaps Ross and UNC are engaging in some 4D chess here

Miami gets BB and Bunny in a swap with UNC getting Coach McDaniel and Tua, who never finished college and has one more year of eligibility left!

This could be a win win for everyone - and UNC could make the pitch that with the former coach and QB of the Dolphins leading the way, their players will be that much better prepared to go from the NCAA to the NFL, and perhaps back to college again!

Maybe someday one of the will write a book and we'll know all the details. I bet it would be a bestseller.
