I was surprised they were matched up. That is an awful matchup for Marcus. I feel bad for him.

The first TD, Jones got switched onto London based on the routes Atlanta ran, but the other 2 were completely unacceptable.

Easy to say that after Boutte went out with injury.

Nobody wanted to see Boutte injured. He has been a key piece for the team. But reality is that he is injured and adding another WR could really help us.

We saw firsthand how a quality WR like London almost took over that game, it's very important that we add another weapon to replace Boutte.

I actually think the Boutte injury may open the door to bring in Jakobi Meyers. He is plug and play in the offense. They can get him an extension almost immediately, and then also extend Boutte after the season, and basically have their WRs set for the next few years.

I was firmly against adding a WR before today.
Well, not really firmly, just didn't feel it was a need, and we have other areas I would prefer to strengthen.
Now it's a bit different.
Depending on the severity of his injury, a WR could most certainly be a higher need tomorrow than it was at 1:00 today.

Just toe the line with your existing wide receivers and hope Boutte comes back from injury by the bye week . If we can squeeze 2 or 3 more wins that would be ideal . No point expensing draft and cap space for a free agent wide receiver

Buffalo and the Steelers Teams looking for another WR are interested in him. Depending on Boutte's situation I'm not sure we are out.

this loss and the Daniels injury should put Washington in sell mode. I’d inquire about Brandon Coleman for some interior OL help.

I know where u r going at. But I don't think meyers will move the needle much . If Boutte comes back in 4 weeks this would be a great time to get match experience for Chism and Williams .

Maye needs to trust them and considering our weak schedule , no time is more ripe than this year to get them game time.
