lol a Hail Mary that doesn’t even reach the end zone

His arm is cooked or?

Didn't really look like a solid throw form. Threw off his left foot while running to his left, with his body hunched over like he was almost falling, facing the sidelines. Was just an ugly stance all around, he was being chased immediately.

Macro concern for the Chiefs is that the offense looked like it did the first few weeks of the season.

Broncos can win that division if they just split with the Chiefs.

So is this the typical yearly “wow Buffalo is for real this year, they beat Kansas City!!! They’ve exercised their demons!!! Sure it was only in the regular season but still!!!!!” game?

I’m not buying into Buffalo, but KC falling to 5-4 is HUGE. As of this morning they were still the betting favorites to be the #1 seed, and even posters here were assuming they were guaranteed to win their division. Now?

I’ll be impressed when Buffalo beats KC in the playoffs..if they make it in..

Mahomes had a bad game and he was still throwing into the endzone to tie the game at the end.

I think the way Buffalo plays now has such a low margin for error especially in January when you become RB-centric, they were way more explosive a few years ago and could blow games open.

He looks like his all-pro days are behind him.

Still good, still will get another contract, but man.
lol, will he get a new deal? Is under contract til 2032...

Oh he will. He'll make a perfect Steeler in 2032.

I won't be surprised if they still win 12 games and the division although 11 is probably more likely, think the one seed is gone for them though.

Buffalo is 5-1 in the regular season against the chiefs with Allen and 0-4 in the playoffs. That split is crazy

That's an Andy Reid vs McDemott stat, he adjusts better after the first game.

No other explanation although Allen has had the ball to win it the last twice and not come thru.

Mahomes: 15/34 250 and a pick.
Yeah not great... but to me the most underrated stat line for QBs is PPG. I don't think just cause you hand it off inside the 5 you should be punished. And you are punished on the stat sheet for doing the right thing. Mahomes led his team to 21 points and had a hell of a lot to do with those points. Don't get me wrong. I like to dunk on Mahomes too, but i also like to be fair and look at the entire context of things.

As for the whole Mahomes thing.... He caught the NFL with their pants down playing a style no one has ever seen and making it work, along with having one of the best offensive minds of all times on one of the most loaded offenses in modern NFL history early in his career. Everything he does which is impressive looks impressive due to his style. He wins with highlight plays and it is an easy to digest narrative. He is also amazing just in general outside of that context. Add it all in (and him getting to be the darling underdog vs the big bad Patriots dynasty/looming monster over the league that has been Brady dominance) and it is any wonder he has been so pushed by the media and casual fans?

But now the elite talent is gone. Good talent still remains. NFL Ds have caught up to his style. And they are more ready for Reid's schemes. They are not falling for the fake TE pass rush blocks then go out for an easy pass. The Delayed RB routes are getting sniffed out and other teams are using them now so they are less effective.

He is still great, cause he is a great player... But he his legacy and early history does not match what he is now. Not because i believe he is any worse. It is all those other factors.

The way the've been playing, and how their opponents have been playing, I have a hard time seeing 6 or 7 more wins out of that group for them. Maybe 5. Finish 10-7, probably a wild card, though there could be a lot of competition there.

I think i'm more down on Bo Nix than the average fan which is why i think they'll eventually win both Denver games, i think he's absolutely horrible and he's got away with some horrific play and had some of the luckiest 4th Qs i've ever seen.

I watch Bo Nix and think he won't be a starter in 2 years he's that bad.

Next 2 games are crucial - 0-2 would be very bad. And both are loseable. 5-6 would leave almost no margin for error

KC decides to **** the bed today. Thanks for nothing Queefs

the denver games will determine that division (most likely)

I’d favour KC in all of those games. But they’ll likely stumble at least once.
