That accounts (maybe) for stumble 1 of the 3 the previous poster mentioned in that ONE play.
My impression of that play was he never quite got his balance back to whole time. I don't think theres anything medically wrong with him. Maybe he has a habit of running before he regains his balance, I've seen it happen before with other players.

Both of these things can be true at the same time, yes.

Mike Onwenu needs a ticket out of Foxboro after this year. Basically, they still need to draft two guards if they think Bryant's going to be the right tackle of the future.
If the Patriots win a SB within the next three years or so, it won't be with this OL.

Curious thing about Pop. Twice now, when he's caught long balls he then proceeds to stumble all over the field. He stumbled three times after the catch on the 58 yarder today. There was a play similar to that earlier in the year. What's that about?
I see that with the little Pop Warner tykes. Their helmet is such a large percentage of their overall weight that they're top heavy and unbalance easily...

More seriously, I knew someone once who would randomly fall down running the bases in softball. Turned out to be an inner ear problem.

But.... but... we don't need a player like that according to some wr talk I've seen on patsfans.com...
We have the best record in the NFL with one of the top passing games.

Don't want to get too into it... But thoughts.

Maye with a bad game. It's okay.
Oline needs to get better, they were doing better earlier in the year I think. Last 2 games no good.
The run game has improved recently, I will credit the oline for that. But part of that is they are running to the outside, which leans more on TEs/WRs than the interior of the OL.

The LB play has improved. Even without Elliss out there they were giving less space and limiting yac.

I love seeing Tonga in as a FB.

This run D is among the best in Patriots history, including those championship years. As long as they can stop the run like this they can limit offenses enough to have a chance every game to win.

Henderson has really looked pretty good recently. Love to see it.

Let's give credit to Pettus and Woody this game. They played well.

Low penalties were key this game. Being 0-2 in turnovers killed all the margin for error. Also those 2 drops into hurt badly.
Maye didn’t have a bad game.

cant keep taking so many sacks, eventually it will knock Maye out of the game. Some of these are Mayes fault not the OL.

@mayoclinic @One-If-By-Sea - Wilson has given up 4 sacks, a QB hit and 3 hurries on 113 passing snaps in the last 3 weeks. That's a pressure every 14.1 passing snaps. You all were whining about Demontrey Jacobs and Vederian Lowe last year. Jacobs gave up a pressure every 11.5 passing snaps and Lowe every 15 snaps. Onwenu's down year last year saw him at 1 pressure every 21.2 snaps.

I'm not expecting him to be Logan Mankins or Joe Thuney (1 pressure every 28 or 29 snaps), but he needs to be better than Layden Robinson.

The Patriots should not go all in yet. There time is coming. But it's going to be a few years. Jmo.
I tend to agree with you.

Then again, you can't just piss away a 7-2 start, unless you're sure you have no chance. They won't get a gift of a schedule like this again for a long, long time.

I see both sides of it in terms of strategy on this one.

Well maybe he has a problem w his balance while holding a ball
Maybe HE should do the fumble training everyone wanted Rham to do and carry the rock all week in facility. Lol

I think him doing balance board training the way that Adam Oates or hockey goalies do would probably do better for him.. It was weird watching him stumble every 3-4 steps with no one touching him.

The pats can win the AFC. They have some big decisions to make ahead of the trade deadline.

While I think we should do all we reasonably can at the trading deadline, I’m not believing any decline by KC until they get knocked out. They won the AFC 5 of the last 6 years and blew a big halftime lead in the AFCCG in the other one. We’ve heard about their decline before, and they’ve turned it on in the winter weeks.

If 2001 teaches us anything, it is you never know

It doesn't seem like Drake Maye is comfortable with the quick game yet. That's my only explanation, because it's the one part of the Josh McDaniels offense that is glaringly missing.
He’s had 3 GW drives this year. One against Buffalo to drive down for the FG. Two against the Saints/Falcons where he got needed first downs to clinch the game.

He’ll need more late game tests. But he hasn’t exactly failed any tests yet.

It's been sometime since Ive witnessed a win in person.. I think since Mac's masterpiece vs Jax. I also traveled to Dallas to see us get out **** kicked in and nearly get into a fight 3 v 1 because I had patriots shirt on at the wrong place at the wrong time (I was talking alot of **** to be fair...I'm a big boy and can handle myself)...

This feels good...it's been awhile!!

LFG Boys and Girls...we are so ****ing back.

Good vibes on the way back to the Merrimack Valley.
