I don’t think the percentage is that high. I appreciate and respect everything he did and I’ve always fallen under the side of great coaching with the right players leads to special things, and Brady obviously fell into that category. And given all the bad decisions we see every January, having a great coach who doesn’t freeze in critical situations is absolutely an underrated factor which falls under the “Players win games, coaches lose them.” Bill was critical in all of it, including helping that entire locker room believe they could finish the job and they were prepared enough to do it.That's not what's happening. %90 of the board hates Bill Belichick.
If you hate the man that gave you your entire franchises success than you're not a fan of that team simple as that.
With that in mind, Bill isn’t helping his cause with his current choices and it will cloud the memories in the short term of those who also disagree. But when the dust settles, he’ll remain the best coach this club has ever seen. At least barring another unprecedented 20yr run by someone else.
