Wow and that was not a SB Defense to begin with. Maybe they'll take K White off our hands... I mean they have to take what they can get.

@State you are really batting 1.000 with your great QBs this year.Best QB taken in the 2024 draft Spencer Rattler has been benched by New Orleans in favor of Tyler Shough.

Very true. These guys are loaded with talent particularly on the offense. If they can keep their team intact over the next three years then they have the blueprint on building a winning team. In fact I am going to go out on a limb and state that their weak link on offense is Goff. What would Mayes numbers look like on Lions? They have a great line, two really good receivers in St. Brown and Williams, a stud TE with Laporta and the best 1-2 running back combination with Gibbs and Montgomery. This is kind of relieving for our future too. If the lions have been able to take care of all these guys who have been crazy expensive (st brown, jameson williams, sewell, hutchison, mcneil) when their rookie contracts were up we shouldn’t have many problems either with maye, Gonzalez, Campbell, etc. Just have to keep drafting well now that our core seems to be in place.

I watched Goff in a couple games this year. He strikes me as above average but nothing more. I think his stats this year have a lot to do with the cast around him rather than his ability. I am probably nit picking on him but when you see all the talent they have and then watch him he does not look on par to his teammates. When you watched Brady or Mahomes it is clear that they were/are the upper end of talent who could impose their will on a game.Goff is the only ‘problem ’ i see for Detroit. Its in quotes because hes great overall, but he has come up small time after time in the playoffs. I don’t know if i trust him to get them a ring, most of the time it comes down to the QB. Kind of like when the 9ers went against the chiefs, both times i thought sf was easily the superior team but mahomes was just >>>>> the niners qbs
Also i left a few names off my lions list above. Good for them being able to hold onto all these guys.
Wow thats some big checks. Surprised to see Hutch make so much more than St. Brown, although he had 77 million guaranteed. Apples to oranges but generally speaking I was always under the impression behind QBs was WRs for large contracts. St. Brown is an absolute stud. He is in year two of his four year deal and is 26. It would be awesome to some day seem him sporting the flying Elvis.

State told me that Rattler would outplay Maye this season, and that Verdarian Lowe would replace Campbell at left tackle.
