It’s hard to get a good return for a guy who hasn’t done almost anything whatsoever in 2.5 years. He had like one single good game against Caleb Williams inexplicably crapping his pants.

First two games last year against Cincinnati and Seattle, he looked like he was going to turn into something good. Then he stopped and turned into a pumpkin outside of that Bears game. I was hoping it was because he needed a coach who could help him once he crossed the white lines, and he pretty much said as much after Mayo was canned. But through training camp and thus far this year, same pumpkin. A shame because I can see the potential, but for some reason the light bulb hasn’t turned on for him to convert that into actual results. Seems like it was time to move on.

I think his attitude was the problem. I think he sees himself as a starter and was pissed he wasn't starting. This is Vrabel getting rid of guys who don't want to be here, and that's a good thing.

And this is very possible too, we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes at this point.

He had regressed to the point of being a game day inactive. I wanted more too, but I’m happy we got anything at all given the lack of development he showed.

Maybe he is renewed after a fresh start but I don't see it.
When I watched him closely this year, he looked just like Polk. Just didn't look like n NFL athlete.
Strange I know given his RAS, but he just looked so un-dynamic. He would literally just run into his blocker and do nothing.

Felt kind of inevitable. Definitely has the athletic talent, has a good attitude, but just wasn’t doing jack squat. They’ll save a decent chunk of change back by not having to pay his guaranteed salaries anymore since he’s a 2nd rounder, and get a future special teamer for him with that 6th.

San Fran’s a good landing spot for him. Saleh is as good a guy as any to find a use for him. I hope he does, because I really did like the guy.

VERY disappointing nonetheless, a paltry return for what was initially invested. But I'll assume if Vrabel couldn't whip him into a contributor, he was a lost cause.

The question now is what happens with the open roster space.

He was providing nothing on the roster, at least they open a slot for someone who will contribute, T.Jennings, and improve a draft position from bottom of 7th round to mid 6th round.

Man, like so many others, I had high hopes, but when I saw him taking clean up reps in the 4th quarter against the Titans, I knew it was looking bad.

Didn't get much back...had hoped to trade him for Garrett, straight up, after the game.

Seriously though, hoping we get a really good edge guy somewhere along the line. With Barmore and Williams crushing it on the inside, you'd think edge guys would be feasting a bit more.
