Would he be better off with a fullback to pick Garrett up when Campbell starts to lose him?

I think the help needs to hit Garret after Campbell engages. That seems to work.

Our approach there on that 3rd and long is a breath of fresh air. Go for broke and get the big chunk to either get the first or force them to allow the clock to run down. If it’s incomplete, punting and going into the half down 1 is fine.

If we tried to gain a small chunk play, they take a timeout and you’re asking for a missed FG with the Browns having a chance to get into range before halftime.

Sort of like the Squealers game, except with fewer TOs and TDs.

The big chunk plays are there to be had.

Garrett being chipped prior to Campbell picking him up is really throwing Campbell's timing off for some reason. The 2 sacks that Campbell gave up have both come after Garrett got chipped.

If this is true, that means Campbell's feet are too slow.

We have no FB. I think a good FB would do wonders for this offense.

I just mean anyone available lined up in the backfield. Devlin type FB would be nice but even one of our skinny TEs would do.

For all their screw-ups, they go into the locker room with the lead.

Cleveland has done almost nothing on offense after their first drive. NE just needs to hold off on the turnovers and they will slowly build their lead and keep the W.

The run game has worked well when they approached the line and snapped it on the first sound, when they ran off tackle and that flip play. They were ripping off big chunks.

It’s only failed on those draw plays, long developing run plays behind the line of scrimmage. The pass game is slowly getting too comfortable with the long developing passes also, Drake is holding it too long. Josh needs some quick hit passes like the quick seam pass to Hooper.

Everyone keeps talking about Myles Garrett… wel yeah, but count the seconds Drake has the ball. Five seconds is too long. I literally said this before the game… get the ball out fast.

Not surprising first half as mentioned this week The Browns might have the best defense in the NFL. They’re gonna be on the field a lot and wear down in the 4th hopefully.

Defense can keep getting 3 and outs we can start to pull away.
Don’t chip Garrett just full double team him

9-7 lead at halftime. We started out sloppy but I'll take it against a very tough Browns defense.

Gotta play cleaner in the 2nd half. Got to find combo blocks to protect Maye from Garrett.

Our rookie LT is clearly outmatched today and needs help.

He slows down when his play is not there. Will take time.
