91% completion rate today, 10 yards per attempt. 2 TDs and no turnovers.
How the hell is that not a higher rating than 135.
That's about as efficient as I've ever seen a QB play.
I think everything QB related is factored into that stat. The 4 sacks might have lowered his rating.

I gave this post a like, despite not knowing what the hell it means. Only stats I care about is wins, and QB stats I can understand like TD Passes, yards, completion %, things like that.

Do

are they that good?

lamar threw for 225 with 4 TD

love was mediocre in week 3, first game without reed, burrow struggled in week 1, but cinci and week 1......

detroit put up 34 and rushed for over 100
minnesota rudhed for 97 and Wentz had a decent game for Wentz
pitt rushed for 100 and rogers had a solid game

they were probably able to send McDaniel packing today, but that's not a feat....

they are stingy and yards, yet 21st in points allowed

pats D is better against the rush and in points allowed.....the browns don't take the ball away much, even less than the Pats

they are better than a few of the wins on the pats schedule so far, maybe.......but this is a homecoming game, i just see ithe browns as a 1-5 speedbump
Browns offense dos not help their defense at all.

Every team is really good until the Patriots play them and beat them. Then, the prevailing theme is those teams actually suck.

My Grandfather was a Yankees Fan, he saw the team go from Ruth, to DiMaggio to Mantle. I always wondered how amazing that must have been.

I’m beginning to think it’s possible the Pats are about to go through a similar experience…
I enjoy every drop back Maye takes, as a fan I can’t ask for much more.

Agreed and he just turned 23 on August 30. We need to keep him upright and we have 15-20 years of MVP caliber QB play.

Pass pro has been pretty great this year, couple breakdowns today though.

I think he runs a bit less wreckkless than he did last year. Has to keep improving in that area so that prime does stretch out to 15ish years. Much better but id like too see more sliding/avoiding contact.

Oh he can get much better. There is a lot of meat left on that bone.

I remember a game against Minny in Minny. Sunday or Monday night and I forget the year. Anyways the talk was how the Pats were gonna attack them, running might be hard and the pass defense was pretty legit.

Pats on the first snap come out in shotgun, 5 wide and they dominated that game because Brady was HIM. Thats where Maye needs to get to and I think he can. It's up to him.
05-06 right?

Might be I cannot remember for the life of me lol
I remember that game well...or at least I think I do.
Minny had the really tough interior, was it the 2 Williams I think..Kevin and Pat?
We didn't even try to run, we just spread it out and Brady dissected them all game long.

That was the game for sure. It was a clinic. Prime TB.

I may literally be Maye’s biggest fan, but I’m most impressed with the corrections he’s made keeping his eyes downfield (not focusing on the pass rush), keeping two hands on the ball & stepping up in the pocket. He also seemingly knows when to give up on a play (the right way). That being said, he needs to be better at avoiding big hits; namely concussion-inducing hits. He’s the franchise, so he’s gotta protect the franchise.

2006. All BSM could talk about was "#1 RUSHING DEFENSE" all week. I think they might have tried 10 runs, and most of that was late when they were blowing them out.

Actually, QB rating is based on exactly four factors, each weighted equally. To get a perfect rating, a QB needs:

* ≥77.5% completion percentage
* ≥12.5 yards per attempt
* ≥0.11875 TDs per attempt
* No interceptions

Why those specific numbers, I have no idea. But those are the numbers. He needed another TD and ~65 yards.

Interesting, thanks for this ! Always wondered. I thought it had to do with positive results and negative results as well.
