I do too. I was actually looking forward to him getting some time on the floor this year, especially when they signed him to a two year contract, but I guess they figured they had enough guys at that position.I wish Davison all the best. Good guy. I hope he does well.
I feel PP is more effective coming off the bench where he can play more loosely. He's struggling right now.. Simmons should be starting.. really love the young kid Hugo plays with high energy.. I'd also say for defensive purposes boucher should probably be given a chance to start to help with rebounding and shot blocking around the rim...I wish Davison all the best. Good guy. Sure seems like it.. personally as an observer.. and Cs fan. PP is best in a 6th man role.. Simmons should be starting..That was an inauspicious start to the 2025/26 season. I was not at all impressed by this start. The biggest disappointment was Peyton Pritchard. 6/14 with 1/7 from beyond the 3-point arc? TWO chances to win the game and.... choke. WTF dude?
I guess the starting 5 is an indicator of what they're looking for this year, especially with Queta starting at center. Queta is a good bench player who played 3rd string last year. Now he's a starter? He fouled out with several minutes to go.
Sorry guys, but if this game is any indication, we're in for a long year here.
The Celtics will play with the lineup. I dont think it will make a lot of difference. Losing Holiday, Porzingis, and Tatum is the story.I feel PP is more effective coming off the bench where he can play more loosely. He's struggling right now.. Agreed. Lots of talent left the building. I do like some of the young guys we have.. but nonetheless this is what it will look like missing your best player and 2 other essential players. The Celtics will play with the lineup. Feels similar to the Patriots' post-Brady 2020 covid season.Lots of talent left the building and they did nothing to bring in a big. This alone seems to show their intention to coast this year. Too bad that they're wasting one of Brown's prime years. If they really want to tank this year, just sit Brown with his hammy injury for a bunch of games.
Bingo. They aren't stupid. Only way to continue this team is low cost elite lottery guys to pair with Tatum and Brown.Feels similar to the Patriots' post-Brady 2020 covid season.
Low stress reset year
Hard to watch Luka? More generally I think it is hard to watch the Celtics. And am I the only one who thinks it's painful to watch Luka Garza try to get back on defense? He runs like his jockstrap is too tight.
Hes not known for his D.Sometimes I wonder if someone from the Celtics isn't reading this thread. Last night, they started the game by driving to the hoop and kicking it out to Hauser. He ended up 7/13, all 3's. 21 pts in 21 minutes.

I'm embracing this season. They should finish with 45-48 wins. Play hard in the process and improve as the season goes on.Hard to watch Luka? More generally I think it is hard to watch the Celtics.
