NFL Trade Deadline Discourse

We could. Is why we should be serious about attaining him should it become a realistic possibility. What would you think roseman would want?
Don’t care what Roseman wants… wait for Brown to become an untenable situation. Wait until he becomes a huge distraction, they’ll be pushing him out the door. If Brown really wants out he’ll be flexible with his contract.

The Pats aren’t desperate, they’re finally a desirable destination… let it come to you.

Well I would pass out from joy if this happened.

I had Hall on my FF team when he was a rookie. Prior to his injury that year he looked like a top 5 all purpose back with his running and receiving ability.
Can’t imagine the Jets would trade with us, but you never know. I firmly believe it’s our Oline that is holding us back, our run blocking has been atrocious. That said, if the plan was to resign Hall and let Rham walk, that looks like a nice plan beyond this year. Obv trade compensation and new contract are big factors.

The problem with getting OL is that it probably won't fix the run game because each OLman we have share the blame for the run game woes. One play it will be Owenu ****ing up and the next run will be Wilson and then Campell etc...There were a couple of plays that Campbell was not able to seal off at the 2nd level vs Saints.

The OL run blocking is bad as a unit. Of the 2 OL jobs, I am glad they are better at pass blocking. The run game is just infuriating to watch.
I don't know who is better at Run Blocking or Pass Blocking at this point (10-15-2025) between Ben Brown and Garrett Bradbury but if Brown is better with the Run...I think they should make that change. Or Put Brown at LG. Campbell is a very good Run Blocker but he can't do it alone.

It's probably already that. Who knows could also be media hype as well.

We definitely have become a desirable destination.. like in years past when you have great QB play it elevates your team.

We are 11th ranked at OL even with the run game issues... I'd rather be 4-2 with a great young QB and top 10 offense than be 4-13 and worrying about draft positions.. our run game will get better..in Vrabel i trust..

I LOVE Skatteboo’s style. Henderson seems to be just a speed guy, which will hopefully pay dividends eventually, but vision seems to be an issue. He misses lanes, and runs straight into defenders/piles.

Could be the “rookie” thing you mentioned.

Skatteboo was a binky.

Dudes just a savage.

Is there much vision to be had behind this OL? Fact of the matter is, no RB is doing well behind this line so far. If part of being a good RB is not just vision, but the patience behind the line right before you take your lane, the Patriots OL has made that extremely difficult with la es either not opening or not giving enough time to the RB for the lane to open as someone comes around now the right side (as we see, most successful runs seem to be to the left this year, with Campbell holding down that side)

More positions than the past 5 years are easily diagnosable on this team, but RB is pretty hard. The run blocking just ain't there.

Because of this, you don't even want to put Henderson on the field. A telegraphed run is something we can hardly afford right now :/

I could be wrong, just my take.

The record won't matter if we are one and done in the playoffs because we can't run.

Can't have it all. 8 wins total last 2 seasons.. plenty to improve on.. the running game was a talking point in past patiots teams as well.. and we won SBs.. The QB and coaching took us over the top... we are nit picking really as fans... playoff talk was essentially a non discussion after week 1.

Buffalo? Pittsburgh? Teams with winning records in the AFC... OL fared well
