I love how he always talks about honoring the players of the past. His fat ass knows nothing about UNC's past. He's just using that as an "apple pie and motherhood" move. He's such a ******** artist.

Once again you prove to know nothing. His father coached there for a few years. And he has a pretty strong connection to UNCs most famous football alum. Not to mention he's just a football historian in general. He's already made it a point to invite alum back to talk to the team.

You really just like complaining and being wrong. You should look for a better hobby.

If we’re being honest, he needs to clean house. He needs to ****can Lombardi. Get a real scouting department. Let them find the talent, work with some PR guys for his pitch to these players. Tell these kids he’s going to use his NFL connections to get scouts down there constantly. Tell signbabybrady to give him some of those pictures of rings to put around the office.

Then get a proven coaching staff that understands college.

This just isn't going to happen and ultimately it was his undoing in NE. Throughout his whole time here, he never went outside the organization. It was only "his guys". And that worked because he built up a terrific program of great football minds, even if they mostly failed when they left to run their own ship. In many cases, that actually served BB because they had to come back into the roles they were good at and, most importantly, TRUSTED to do.

Over time, that well ran dry because all of his guys either retired or found other situations. That's how you end up with Patricia/Judge forced into offensive roles and him ignoring his whole scouting department and refusing to talk to Mac Jones because he asked for outside help. He always ran it with a militaristic type of paranoia and that was fine when he had good guys in his bunker. He doesn't now but he still has the paranoia/isolationism.

So no, he isn't going to go outside his circle for the proven coaching staff he needs under him. And at this point, it's kind of teetering on what looks like a certain level of dementia/clinical level paranoia that's causing him to dig further into his ways.

Lombardi wasn't even good at scouting college guys ready to go into the NFL

How could one think he'd be adept at scouting HS kids?

I just don't think BB truly understands how different recruiting, developing and coaching is in college compared to the NFL
