If I recall correctly that was all John Lynch.
Lynch pushed it, but he can't makes moves without Shanahan's approval. He basically asked Shanahan for a job when Shanahan was about to sign with the 49ers, so Lynch knows his place. But knowing Shanahan, he probably would dump it on Lynch to avoid blame.

Sounds crazy

I'm so glad we ended up with Drake Maye cause if we blew it at QB this Mac Jones game would really be pissing me off

I think Mac is proving in San Fran Belichick and a lot of the Mac haters wrong. Mac can be a good QB in the right situation and system.

That said, I am glad he flamed out. Mac's ceiling is far, far lower than Maye. Mac can be a playoff QB on a good team. He might even be good enough to win a Super Bowl with a stacked team like Garoppolo had the year he went to the Super Bowl. But I don't know if he can carry a team like Maye has shown today.

Shanahan really is a QB whisperer. Belichick? Lol no.

That's the problem though. He's too high maintenance. Those types of QB's aren't sustainable. Kerry Collins was that guy in 1996. Chris Chandler was that guy in 1998. Chad Pennington was that guy in the 2000's. Alex Smith with the 2010's 49ers. Mark Sanchez with the 2009-2010 Jets. Ryan Tannehill with the Titans. Those QB's have a year or two of fluke seasons before it crashes down on them when the talent/coaching erodes.

With that said, Mac continues to put up a good fight with the 49ers.

Ridley just left with a hamstring injury. Probably won’t have to face him next Sunday.

Mac Jones lighting it up
Shanahan embarassing BB

If Mac ****ing Jones beats the Bucs on the road......

Alex Smith had pretty good run in KC before they got Mahomes. He was never going to get them to the Super Bowl without a ton of help on both sides of the ball, but he did make the Chiefs competitive for like a half a decade or longer.

And Pennington was undone by injuries. Not because he was a guy who needed to be in the right system and maintained.

Jones might be slower than Brady running it

Can’t wait to see Josh tell Rham to run at Vea. Lol

Don’t like that throw by Jones. High risk low reward

And Pennington was undone by injuries.
Pennington wasn't scaring anybody pre injury. His best game pre injury was unfortunately against the Pats week 14 at Gillette in 2002. That was one weird game. The rotator cuff injury destroyed his arm though.

K Bourne another week well over a 100 yds receiving. For some reason I wanted us to keep him: we literally gave him away.

Two 7th rounders for Hendrickson.

Man what a run by Baker

Wow Saleh won’t like that. Yikes
