I think Mac is proving in San Fran Belichick and a lot of the Mac haters wrong. Mac can be a good QB in the right situation and system.

That said, I am glad he flamed out. Mac's ceiling is far, far lower than Maye. Mac can be a playoff QB on a good team. He might even be good enough to win a Super Bowl with a stacked team like Garoppolo had the year he went to the Super Bowl. But I don't know if he can carry a team like Maye has shown today.

I get the low ceiling argument about Mac but QB is so hard to get right that I think plenty of teams would be totally happy to have that
