WRs being interested for one, Diggs off an ACL was the best we could get guys like Godwin and DK Metcalf might have actually been interested if the Patriots showed this last year.

Milton Williams was always going to go to the highest bidder since he hadn't been paid, defensive guys can function at an elite level regardless of the QB play so obviously don't care as much, it's no surprise we struggled to get weapons last 2 off seasons.
Diggs is better than those 2 so far. Metcalf was a trade and Godwin didn’t want to move, no matter what. Nothing at all to do with “being a destination”

RBs need to stop worrying about fumbling and run like normal. They are useless the way they run like they think the objective is to keep the ball and not actually gain yards.

Funny that you blame the Running backs and not the O-line that was letting Defenders into the backfield the entire 2nd half of the game.

The refereeing was bad even in the booth. Why did Vrabel have to throw his challenge flag at 2:13 in the 4th when the booth is supposed to automatically review close plays with under 5:00 to go in the game?
I almost lost my mind when they set the play clock to 25 instead of 40. Trying to explain that minutiae to the laymans I was with lol.

For all the people calling the Saints a bad team and expecting us to blow them out, the Patriots were a bad team until about 3 weeks ago.

Losing to the Raiders at home, the defense was awful in Miami then the turnover debacle against the Steelers, the Patriots could of just as easily been the Saints until it clicked the last 3 games.

It's a bit early in the process for style points, the spread in Vegas was Patriots -3.5, they won by more than expected.
I would like to introduce you to Drake Maye. We can’t be the Saints.

But yes, style points are stupid.

I’ve said it since the summer. This is a playoff team.

We are 4-2
We play the jets twice
Tenn
Miami at Home
Cleveland
Cincy
Baltimore (1-5)
Giants

Win even 6 of those 8 we are in the playoffs. (I can’t see us losing any)

And our remaining 3 are
Atlanta
Tampa
Buffalo at home after beating them in the road

Which we gave a great chance at winning.
Jets are 0-6 but they are playing some of three game tough and I think their defense is better than the Saints and Denver struggled today against them. Not a cake walk, and some of the other here might not be as easy as we think like the Giants.

Worst officiated game I've watched. And that's saying something. There were other bad ones this year, but this was the worst.
This game was worse than the Seahawks/Squeelers Super Bowl game.

The Jets can't score, if you get a 10 point lead or score in the 20's the game is over.

The only way the Jets can beat the Pats if if we throw up all over ourselves or they run for 200 yards, Fields is 0-26 as a starter in the NFL when the opposition scores 21 or more.

We are significantly better than those teams.

I’m sorry you think the 0-6 team that can’t get out of its way is scary.

I dont think I said they were scary, but the jets defense is playing well and keeping them in games, granted the Jets cant score, but I still don’t believe the Pats cant have a bad game, today’s second half of offense wasn’t what I would call stellar. They won and that’s great and Im happy.

I wouldn't mind if they flexed the Jets away from Thursday night.

Defense is suspect. Can't cover the middle and they are getting destroyed by check downs.
Can you really get “destroyed” by check downs?

They scored 3 points in the second half.

Closer game than it should have been due to refs and also to inability of our run game. Gotta fix the latter.

You're not fixing the latter without a change on the O-line.

Maybe @patfanken or @KCSVEN can look at the all-22 and see what was happening in the 2nd half that NOLA was penetrating on rushes so much.. I mean, I think the Pats had 3 or 4 straight rushing plays between 2 series where NOLA stopped them behind the LOS.
