I don’t think the answer is audible into else based on one DT positioning;….

I think play design didn’t account for it (McD fault)

& Remondre should have been told in such a case to chip the DT and delay him long enough for the C to get to his spot.

Yes, a QB audibles out of a play because of even just one mismatch or misalignment or a protection that does not account for every man in the box, or a weakness in the protection, such as asking Bradbury to snap the ball, then go over and lay a trap block on an elite rusher.
Brady used to do that all the time.

You don't have someone chip after taking a fake handoff. That's just telling the D that you don't have the ball.
