Yes, this is why Rahm was out during the early part of the offseason. He talked about it with Steve Burton and patriots All access. I know he had fumble issues prior. I think Vrabel knows what he went through personally with his father and that likely plays a large part into why Vrabel is handling the way he is.Ahh that sucks to hear, pretty young to lose a Father. But the struggles did start last year.
Agreed. A poster said Mayfield in his opinion was the best QB. Obviously I laughed that off. Allen is the best QB in the league and reigning MVP. There's not a QB out there that you have to game plan for like we did for Josh Allen. The controlled rush mirrored with coverage is how you have to play him.I was actually about to post about this and his lousy sack avoidance/pocket awareness. I don't know if its PTSD from last year or not but he doesn't have a good feel of the pocket which makes his efficiency that much more impressive. The OL is not perfect but is pass blocking pretty well, but Maye tends to leave pockets when they are clean and moves into trouble. Once he figures that out and he will (should improve with experience), he will be a menace.
I agree that they did not look good in the 1st half, but after watching the game again I think that McD calls things early to set up things for later. Maye is a quick learner, in the 2nd half there were a couple of plays that he made that he had missed in the 1st half. You are dead on about looking unprepared, thank god for the defense keeping the Bills wrapped up for the most part.
Talking about defense, Zak Kuhr needs some flowers because he called a very good game. There were still some calls that made me wonder what the **** he was doing, but mostly it was a good called game.

I couldn't look.I was praying.
Borg has arrived.I was praying.
Listening to David Andrews, he said on the penalty to Farmer, BB coached them to just touch the player since his knee was on the ground.I have been reading comments and talking to friends that the Patriots have a soft schedule the next 3 game against teams that are 1-4 like the Saints, Titians and Brown. While that is true the Patrs are still capable of playing some inconsistent football that could hurt them even against those 3 teams.
I re-watched the Buffalo game. The Patriots are still capable of making stupid penalties like the two unnecessary contact calls against Durden and Farmer in the 4th quarter that helped the Bill score a TD on that drive. They also have the ability to string some good plays together like the 90 yard touchdown drive also in the 4th quarter. The Pats need to cut down on the number of penalties as they had 8 for 93 yards.
Overall i like the direction of this team !!
He's leaving out the part where Cook was actually looking to pitch the ball back. I think that's why Farmer didn't think he was down.Listening to David Andrews, he said on the penalty to Farmer, BB coached them to just touch the player since his knee was on the ground.
No penalty and the play is over.
Combined with a late whistle. He's leaving out the part where Cook was actually looking to pitch the ball back. I think that's why Farmer didn't think he was down.
If that kicked was missed we definitely loose that game...I couldn't look.
Has anyone heard from arch???@GreenCow still waiting for your thoughts on the game. Thanks in advance.

@PatsFan2 ...and..like yourself Steve... are very interesting, informed and respected posters..alike that bring some comedic insights to the forum...@FoxboroFan23 either you're a noobie and we can forgive you for not understanding @PatsFan2 fixation on all things wideout, or... you're a sock puppet for PF2.
NBC averaged 21.9 million viewers for Sunday Night Football, as the Patriots upset the Bills 23–20 in Buffalo. NBC has drawn at least 20 million viewers for its first six SNF games of the season.
You see all sorts of weird things with kicks. There was a doink and in on Sunday.I was praying.
