Aren’t you the guy who started a thread calling Josh Simmons the steal of the draft before a single regular season snap.

Now people here are “rushing to judgment” a month into actual football?

You can’t make this stuff up…
He's a troll and an idiot.

Regardless of competition : the fact that this LT has been productive in the league to start his career is very encouraging. I hope things continue going well for him, as shoring up that spot could lead to good times.

This, times a thousand. Pretty much the best way to start a rebuild is to find a QB and a LT, and it appears that we've done that. Add to that a strong HC and OC and things are looking really good. I hope our DC recovers fully and we can continue to improve the defensive side. Even our kicker looked decent yesterday, and the rest of STs looked even better.

The biggest need IMO is a WR1, a "security blanket" guy Drake can count on to be open, a guy the other team's defense needs to be afraid of. If we find one via draft or FA in the off season I will be extremely happy. Having such a guy will open up the run game a lot. Then, just a bunch of depth/talent upgrades. I think this staff has done a pretty good job at identifying them so far and weeding out the ones that don't fit their scheme.

Found a nor Easter knock off jersey online. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a Campbell one and also get a red Maye one too.

Maybe a Milton Williams or barmore red one instead cause those 2 guys are feasting and you gotta show the d love

Says the poster who wants us to think Thornton is an all pro now lmao yes you really can't make this stuff up...
Damn! Receipt given!

This is why I have zero desire to be controversial cause my wild takes wouod get exposed!

100%.

I always thought James White's injury was a massive loss for Mac Jones.

James White injury was a massive loss for me. One of my all time favorites.

Wait a minute. Isn't that the New England way? I didn't know that could be a bad thing.

I expect a certain amount of negativity, but Sam is actually rooting for the coach, quarterback, and left tackle to fail because he didn't want them, and that means that the team will fail. Sam would rather have the team fail than be wrong, and that's pathetic.

It’s sad that’s it’s not just Sam. Many people, far too many, would rather be right than have things go better than they expected.

It’s reminiscent of the old saying “I’m not happy til you’re not happy.”

People really don’t know how to be happy.

If the thing that makes you happy is other people being unhappy you are not a good person.

He's not the only one.

I get that he was drafted high, which elevates what you can defensibly expect, but I see no reason at all to be disappointed in how he has done. He is already a really good run blocker, and as a passpro LT, he's already average and getting better. The whole O-line, in fact, is "not really a problem," contrary to expectations, and show signs of becoming an outright asset. There is nothing to complain about here.,.

Campbell has silenced all those on here that said he needs to play guard. But mark my words if he has one bad game this year all the hats get hung on that game and the I told you so comments will be everywhere.

On a related note, Houston has just traded OT Cam Robinson to Cleveland:

Robinson was signed as a FA on a 1 year deal. He was one of the options many advocated as a stopgap for the Pats at LT.

Even though not addressing LT in FA put the Pats in position of having to draft for need, they seem to have done ok.

Stability at LT is a huge problem for so many teams. Amazing not to have that desperate feeling for the first time in years.

And at some point, that's going to happen. Greg Rousseau this Sunday, Carl Granderson after that, Miles Garrett on 10/26. Not saying these guys are going to eat his lunch, but at some point, someone is going to have a better day than him. Doing a tiny bit of research, sounds like Rousseau is not living up to the contract he just got thus far. Not that I have delved into it deeply.

He had an excellent game today.
He is not all pro yet either
They have played 4 games against bad or mediocre teams 3 at home.

Lets see how he does for an entire season.

Simmons is doing great by the way.
Why the rush to make snap judgments after playing a few crappy teams early in the season?
clown show
