Somehow this makes perfect sense…

I love Jules and saw him work to make himself a very good WR. But if Welker had a ring this wouldn't be a conversation: Welker was a Great Slot Receiver a walking First Down.

It's not like there's a debate about who's better Mankins, Neal, or Andruzzi.

But WR gets out on an island with a chance to make game changing catches or drops that can't be ignored in the debate.

Let's just say it's a credit to how good Welker was that he's in the debate even as a not so clutch slot receiver and vice versa it's a credit to just how big Jules showed up in the playoffs that he's in the debate despite not so huge regular season numbers.

Listen up, tweedle dum. You're the clown in the thread who isn't paying attention. The only one making "over-the-top" remarks is you. Maybe you should remove your head from your arse and stop projecting your short-comings onto others.

You're the one who got his panties in a wad because I corrected you. Now you're being stupid and claiming things I never stated or implied. You're a typical stat fool that can't handle reality. That not everything about the game of football appears in the stats.

Why don't you follow your own advice since you are the one "dribbling BS" on the board.
Oh I'm paying attention there clown. You come to every post you don't agree with and immediately tell people they are ridiculous or clueless or lost touch with reality. I provide stats that show he hasnt done anything you on the other hand provide your opinion as fact. Telling people they cant hand reality about a ****ing kids game? Seriously internet troll. You don't know me and I don't care to know you. You are a toxic condescending individual and I see no value in speaking to you.

You win the award of 1st person I mute.

Teams getting the ball at the 35 or 40 yard line basically turns the final possession of the game into sudden death style OT in tie games. Seattle needed only 20 yards to get into field goal range. This is bad football.
Well, just kick it where you are supposed to. An NFL kicker can't his a 20 yard target?

Great so Pats lose another first round pick.

And I didn’t think signals was a thing anymore everything was done by radio?

In the areticle it talks about on the field /among the 11 signals: hand signals the 11 give each other and calls like the famous Squeelers „Buster, Bustrr, Buster“**

He also said it was fully legal ‚ what everyone does; they just pay close attention in a systematized way.

**one that TB said „. They haven’t changed that coverage signal [cover2 I think TB said] in over 20 years, why would I not know what was coming. „

20 x 53.3 yard target to be more detailed.

Both had relatively bad TB12 SB passes come their way, and 1 made a catch for the ages, and the other dropped it.
I wonder if Wes made that catch if he would have stayed with /they would have kept him w/ the pats.

Gronk Wes & edeldude could have obviated a whole bunch of stupid wr attempts (trade-drafts) & concentrated resources elsewhere

Welker is the prototype & a first down/YAC machine, but Edelman has the special moments that will resonate with us forever. Both were top tier.

Welker was unquestionably the more productive WR.
He had five 1000+ yard seasons in his 6 years here. Including seasons of 1569 and two 1350 yard seasons. He also had five 110+ reception seasons in 6 years.
These are absolute absurd numbers.
He had a combined 7,459 yards in his 6 seasons here. Jules had 6,822 yards in his 11 seasons here (yes, he wasn't always a starter, and had injuries).
Both at their peak, Welker was the much, much more productive WR.
As Uptown said, the biggest difference is Jules will always be remembered for the big plays he made in the SB, and Wes will be remembered for the ones he didn't make.

It's not always about the numbers. Welker caught passes. Jules caught passes, blocked, played defense, was a team leader and an inspiration to all. Welker caught passes.

I understand that.
Doesn't change the fact that Welker was a far more productive WR in his prime, he simply was.
I like both, and both will forever be held in high regard for me.
They both are great stories. Jules story gets lots of attention as a QB covert, but Welker was an UDFA, nothing was handed to him.

They are dragging my name Bustah through the mud
