Thinking about it, we hate the Jets because of past history. That makes sense.

Neutral fans sense how obnoxious Jets fans would be if they were ever actually any good. They got a taste of it from the Rex Ryan era, and they can say no thank you to any more of that. It’s an advanced down payment of hatred.

My son got me a thermos for father's day a couple of years ago and the printing on it was telling me how great of a dad I am, how I was a winner and all the other dads were losers. On the other side was a picture of President Trump.

Well, there was a big Joe Biden fan in our golf league and I was planning on bringing it when we played his team. I thought it would be funny. The only problem was that the guy lost his government job because of DOGE and his wife dumped him soon after. Thank God that I found out about it and never busted his balls.

We also have a guy in the league who's wife left him recently because of his support for the President. Whenever he'd wear his MAGA hat she'd cover it and complain about it. So much for standing by your man huh?

Perhaps the bigger question is why Jete fans aren't invested in hating it.

I think the Jete fans do hate the team -- or at least some of them.

Of course, half are completely delusional, spoiled children who think that, if they behave badly enough, they can have ice-cream for dinner every night.

The others, though, are like people trapped in a failed marriage, utterly wretched and disillusioned but lacking the strength to do something about it.

Right... actually looked pretty good doing it too - and of course Vrabel had his own sideline run too.

No doubt there's some coaches out there who take pride in being stoic no matter when things are good or bad but even Belichick has had a few moments showing emotion.

Kindof tough to suggest that any coach pattern themselves on BB at this point, unless Glenn has a young GF he wants to bring in as an advisor. I actually kindof like the guy and respect the long career he created. Heck he's one of the few Jets who was able to survive his stint with the team in the first place!
