I dont disagree with this statement. Sometimes you just got to let go. but 276 pages later I can say a lot are not ready to do that.

Agree. It's hard to rationalize the path from GOAT coach to laughing-stock ****y-whipped simp, but that's where we are. I hope he's doing it because this is truly what he wants instead of him being manipulated by others, but have a hard time seeing how someone who once clearly cared about his standing among the all-time great coaches and executives would choose this path. Diminishing mental capabilities feels like a plausible explanation to me.

Yes but you have to admit, he is still very much a public figure. Even if we set aside the spectacle of his private life, he has taken a high profile HC job at UNC so that is certainly going to merit discussion… not to mention that it is also highly discussion worthy when he bans NE scouts from

So Belichick wants everyone completely focused on doing their job, and that's what he's doing on the sidelines 1 minute before kick off. If Tom Brady had been doing that with Alex Guerrero on the sidelines Belichick would have gone batshit crazy.
