Just put him in your ignore file like I have. Anyone saying Belichick-without-Brady is a successful head coach is just too stupid to engage with.

He was a failure at Cleveland and got fired.
He was going to get fired in NE when Brady saved his career.
Once Brady left, he was a failure who got fired.
Now at UNC he is a failure who will probably get fired after year 2.

It’s hilarious how college players have far, far more rights than NFL players.

It is interesting isn't it? Now these guys leaving are clearly at the end of the depth chart and have proven themselves liabilities in the run or pass blocking game, but I'd be curious as to whether the coaches make clear they have no shot at starting and they choose to leave - or if the players themselves are calling the shots and able to say FU to a coach and move on.

But if you're on the bench at UNC you're probably better off starting for a lesser team - so hopefully these kids are empowering themselves and at the very least getting a free education

Ty Law talked about this a few years ago. He said during his time in NE that players walked on egg shells around Bill because it was harder to get paid then and there wasn’t that much money at stake like there is now. This next generation of players only have to be mediocre and will get paid which will set up generations for life.

Four games in, it looks like one of the most disastrous hires in recent memory. The Tar Heels are 2-2, but have been outscored 82-23 against Power Four competition. Going on the road and losing 34-9 against a UCF team projected among one of the worst in the Big 12 was a historically awful moment for the program. There's a realistic chance that the Tar Heels lose out, which would mark the worst season in Chapel Hill since 2003. For comparison, Mack Brown posted six straight bowl appearances. Grade: F

Actually it's more that we're sad that he's now a national laughingstock and an embarrassing shell of what he once was now that he's being led around by the collar by a 24 year old bimbo and a team of grifters taking advantage of his name.
