Injury. His availability was his best ability. Now that he's suddenly available he's able to tap into his potential. I wouldn't say KC is suddenly an explosive offense with him.Not really. One, he got hurt just falling to the ground. Now all of a sudden he isn't. So nobody really can know for sure.
He was a mid 2nd, not a top 25. He’s definitely looking like a mid 2nd right now.
39 Rec for less than 400 total yards over 3 years is a terrible pick forbthe 2nd rd. Not as bad as Polk but Nkeal Harry had more production in NE than Tyquan.Thornton was a good pick after all. People can stop putting him on the list of horrible Patriot WR draft choices. He had great deep speed and I thought he was a decent route runner too.
I certainly am not lamenting letting him go or the fact he is at least capable now that he's gone. I just get annoyed by these thin skinned, rabbit eared, athletes who react like that. Thornton sucked the whole time he was here and now he wants to be all "woe is me" on Twitter to Patriots fans?J
We can't draft WRs for ****, but, boy, can we make long threads about drafting WRs talking about the same **** over and over.
Or that we didn't develop him and then gave up too soon on him. He'd look pretty good split out for us right now. He's starting and producing for one of the top 5 teams in the league.39 Rec for less than 400 total yards over 3 years is a terrible pick forbthe 2nd rd. What he does beyond his time in NE is irrelevant to that fact he was a bad pick for this team
Didn't develop him is a load of crap. This isn't HS football, this is the NFL where these professional athletes are paid millions of dollars and have access to the best fitness and personal trainers. Not getting developed is a lame excuse for someone who has all the opportunity and time in the world to perfect his craft.Or that we didn't develop him and then gave up too soon on him. One young kid in his early 20s. Who cares?I certainly am not lamenting letting him go or the fact he is at least capable now that he's gone. In the grand scheme of things no one really. In context to my fandom though it is annoying. Thornton acts like we were rooting for him to fail here. One young kid in his early 20s. Who cares?
My fandom is not that fragile. In the grand scheme of things no one really. In context to my fandom though it is annoying. Thornton acts like we were rooting for him to fail here.

Pretending the employee had more power over the owner is peak BB hater stupidity. But you guys excel at that..."Collaboration with veto power" = "veto power".
Thing did change because Bill's drafts sucked and Bob thought he should at least have some voices in his ear.
If this made the GOAT coach go ****, well, that's on Bill.
If he cared as much about his legacy as some here do, he would have found any loss of power unacceptable and resigned as HC of NEP.
Nothing was forcing him to stay, yet stay he did, which says it all.
Either he was okay with the arrangement or he was doing a cynical Bill-first money grab.
That's fine, but both of these opinions are unacceptable to the Cult of Bill.
He ranks 2nd in the entire NFL in Yards Per Reception, he has scored a long receiving TD in back to back weeks. He's a deep ball threat not good enough to make our team.
5 for 9 and 71 yards against a team with ****ty DBs and everyone loses their ****.
We should probably cool our jets a bit, but everyone loves to over-value the draft so we lose it if one of our exes has a good game.
If you have to preface your point with sensationalistic nonsense... you don't have a leg to stand on.Tyquan Thornton isn't some All Pro WR
Agreed, I wish we still had him now. Drake Maye has the arm to reach him downfield.Or that we didn't develop him and then gave up too soon on him. He'd look pretty good split out for us right now. He's starting and producing for one of the top 5 teams in the league.

Lucky for him he found one of the few situations where he could fit in. Good for him. He'll be riding the pine soon when the less bony guys are backAgreed, I wish we still had him now. Drake Maye has the arm to reach him downfield.
