Tyquan Thornton thanks us for all the hate and doubt

A big part of his recent success is Mahomes and the KC OL.
He almost certainly would not have this success with current Pats team.

BUT was surprised they gave up on him and his 4.28 speed so soon. Another great Elliott Wolf/Mayo move.

When I told people here Thornton was in a terrible situation in New England with a QB who can’t throw deep in Mac, and an offensive line that couldn’t block for the deep ball… I was assaulted by the “no talent” and “BB sucks” crowd.

Football is a team sport, it takes a team… if you don’t understand that by now, you probably never will.

Yet another telltale sign of a bad football team: players leaving and playing considerably better elsewhere.

Kinda my read on this. Those 2023-2024 teams were bad...he wasn't going to succeed here under those conditions.

Not really. One, he got hurt just falling to the ground. Now all of a sudden he isn't. So nobody really can know for sure.

Sometimes it just takes a player longer to develop and mature than folks anticipate or have patience for. It makes one wonder if we had someone more sagacious in charge perhaps Thornton could've stuck and blossomed.

Lol and who drafted Mac and the offensive line?

That's not a flex for Bill. Couldn't even develop Thornton or Jones for that matter.

Yet one of many examples of Bill being a steaming dog pile of a coach after Brady left.

The collaboration began entering 2021… look at the free fall in win totals afterwards.
Oh that's right. Your "collaboration" quote you cling to. So Tyquan was this unrealized stud Bill identified but the bad players were forced upon Bill. Got it.

Funny how that works!

Jones sucks.. start there.

You should probably pipe down, you are on another thread months ago telling us Thornton was not going to amount to anything in KC. To say you don’t know football is understatement. You’re too concerned with your agenda and feelings to have a logical conversation.

It used to be that players weren't as effective with their new team once they left New England. Since 2019, it's been the complete opposite.

The Chiefs are throwing it up and hoping Thornton comes down with it. Some of those throws will end up being picks. Some will be TD's. But they aren't using him to get seperation and make contested catches. They are playing to his strengths.
He made some really contested catches last night...I mean, REALLY contested.

Collaboration was Bob’s quote.

I also never claimed all collaboration picks were good or bad… but we did see one year with Wolf in total control and it was a disaster.

I said Thornton was in a terrible situation here, clowns said he had “no talent.” Same with Jonnu Smtih for that matter…. yet here we are.
