Yup, and Maye put back to back solid games up. Ultimately we go as he goes. If he plays like last week we can win almost any game, and be in the playoff hunt at seasons end.
Here's the thing about this team this year. They are ALWAYS going to tease us with the legitimate possibility of winning the game. And there are a lot of reasons to believe it will happen today.
They are at home. The Steelers are down more key people than we are. There OL is a mess, while ours is looking up (if only by 3/5th of an inch ), etc, etc
But there are just as many reasons to think the worst will happen. and I'm too lazy to point them out and it will make me sad if i do. But the Bottom Line is that this will be our fate most weeks.
Now is the time to start to see if we are going to be that improving team that NEEDS to learn how to win, OR the improving team that IS learning how to win and not lose games.
I think Pittsburgh and the Patriots are about equal.

Agreed, right after last week’s game Vrabel talked about running a clean operation. Think he was putting some of those false starts on Maye and wanting him to be more consistent with his cadence. He has to play well, but also orchestrate a clean operation.
I like the look of the kid, his temperament.. just want him to play with more a chip on his shoulder.
