Injury Creates Starting Opportunity For Former Patriots Quarterback (Mac Jones)

Okay, but, to be clear, I do not regard hatred as remotely the right term for my attitude. If I hated hem, I would want him to recover from his present sad tailspin, which I very much hope he will. He is a smart man. I am sure he knows how this all must look, and I am sure that must be quite painful.
To be clear whenever you speak of him you sound like an angry old bitter man. So whatever you claim to think of him is not getting conveyed. But I suspect that's because my original instincts were right you're just one of these guys that wants to pretend you still like him but all you do is whine and complain about how he wronged you and sit on your high horse. You guys can't cope with the fact that you cheered for someone for 20 years and you now hate him.

Mac does not win the game for us like Maye did Sunday.

Mac is great when the weather is perfect and the OL gives him 3+ seconds to sit untouched in the pocket, throwing within 20 yards. Once things break down in the pocket, weather gets ****ty and he has to throw more than 20 yards, he's gonna be the same old waste like he was here and in Jacksonville.

I give up. This is obsession on your part.

This argument over Mac is amusing.

He is a perfectly good backup, which makes him a terrible starter.

Both can be true at once.
Yep. Or he might be one of those late bloomers who develops in a backup role and grows into a starter. It does happen. I don't think it will happen for Mac, given his physical limitations, but it could, and he has every right to strive for it, as I suspect you will agree.

The cult takes the mildest criticism of Dear Leader personally. That's why it's "hate". Lol
It's kinda sad, verging on creepy. The whole thing is sad. Verging on creepy.

You would rather have Maye than Purdy or Mac because of the ceiling potential? I think Maye's floor is above Purdy and Mac's ceiling.
I'd say Maye's floor is JaMarcus Russell.

Mac Jones's floor is Mac Jones 2023.

What's sad is the image of you burning your "Do Your Job" hat and turning your back on 20 years of greatness because you think Bill is mean.

Mac JOnes is the classic system QB. Like all system QBs they can be great when conditions are perfect but when it breaks down or their system fails they can't deal with it.

Now think about how stupid people sound when they use that label on Tom Brady.

That "image" is an hallucination.

That "image" is an hallucination.
It's the image you project. Wether you want to admit or not you are part of a select group that spends half their time on this board posting negative, hateful, and uncalled for things about Belichick with zero cause for such behavior.

Who labels Brady as a system QB?

Non Pats fans who don't know any better and they are very vocal about it. Google has plenty of examples

Top 5 defense.

I also think he'd do well in Chicago with Ben Johnson. Better than Caleb Williams has been doing thats for sure.

Mac would be a disaster in Chicago much like he was here in NE once the weather gets cold.

He does't have enough velocity in his throws to play in cold weather areas (unless they're in a dome like the Vikings).

I haven't seen that argument after 07. I'm sure you could still find it on Google. Just like you could find people who believe earth is flat. But why even search for opinions like that?
