Injury Creates Starting Opportunity For Former Patriots Quarterback (Mac Jones)

Imagine if Mac wins and the Pats start 0-2

I find it interesting that Shanahan has Jones (and his team) in this position. No matter what a dumb fan like me thinks about Jones - weak of head and arm, in that order - I can’t see Shanahan having him as the QB2 without damn good reasons. I don’t hate the kid by any means, hope it works out for them but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Need to adjust my Sportsbook wagers. . .

He was 2-5 last year. 2 of the loses were in his first 2 games against Minnesota and Detroit where he played bad, but it was against 2 very good teams.

So 2-3(one loss in OT) against non-elite teams, while putting up passable stats, isn't the worst backup QB you can have.

Let's see if Mac can capitalize on the opportunity. I think he's going to struggle just like Purdy did last season and in week 1. WR's are mediocre and Kittle taps out way too much.

I still think they beat the Saints, even on the road, without Purdy. But my OVER 10 wins for San Fran is in serious jeopardy.

Holy ****. I'm betting the house on Spencer Rattler

would love to see him take the job away from Purdy, TBH

The Bill cult changed their mind and now they think Bill should get credit for drafting Mac Jones.
