The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Good to know you’re rooting against them. And don't say you aren’t because you are clearly happy about it.
4-13 same as Mayo. And now had trouble against 2 straight college teams who are a long way off from being ranked. The cult thinks that translates to wins if he was still here looooololololol.

Says it all. No wonder he’s sour these days.

Why does a UNC fan spend all their time on a Patriots site?
I'm rooting for Bill and UNC but I've barely followed college ball in my life really just started watching the playoffs since they implemented one.

That’s better than you being a triggered little ****y because someone called out your ********.
The "triggered" here is you, ****. I posted what I had heard on the news. You said it was BS. No problem. I posted an article. You took it as if I'm trying to proselytize you. So strange. Go back and read your response. Instead of being a ****, maybe you might learn how to communicate with people better but I doubt it.

You already made it clear you are happy they lost with your .222 post.

Troll
So are you “ruining the forum” now? This is exactly what you accused me of doing. Or is it ok when you do it?

No need, I bet Bill is fired before the season ends.
I’m sure that expectations were a little higher than coaching his team to get trucked by TCU and struggle mightily to beat Charlotte. I’m sure the school is starting to have regrets. Kraft doesn’t though.

Love how the cult talks about TCU now like they’re a national powerhouse lmao.

Let's just assume Brady declines. Belichick was on the excuse train for the roster situation saying they sold out to keep Brady's window open and they were dealing with the fallout now. So it's not like he was under the impression that they were going to have some stacked team that Brady would let down. Hell people blamed Brady for 2019 and in hindsight it's obvious the team let him down.

Anyways what was the risk? Bill deals with some dud year from Brady that everyone gives him a pass for and his clock to rebuild doesn't start for several years?
My old brain could be wrong, but wasn't 2019 the year that the Pats finished a blown call vs KC from the #1 seed? That was a pretty good year but they went PEDton Manning in the playoffs.

The blame game for the sad way the dynasty has ended (Bob-Bill-Tom) is the exact opposite of the credit for the wins (Tom-Bill-Bob).

After nothing came out as to why he benched Butler, I never for a second thought there was a valid reason. He would have made it public after that benching spectacularly blew up in his face. He was just that arrogant.

To this day, I still cannot talk about that without getting pissed. That was when I got off the trust Bill will do what's best for the team train. Until that episode, no matter how little I liked his personality, I never doubted that his actions were always in the best interest of the team.
Butler has never said a word about it. That tells me that Butler did something. The only question is was it serious enough to bench him for the entire game.

The only good reason I can think of is Bill heard that Butler was involved with gambling on the SB. That would keep him out of the game for sure…but if that happened I’m sure he wouldn’t dress at all he’d be far away from the team by order of the Patriots and the league and no doubt wouldn’t be invited back to camp in the future.

My guess on the likeliest reason is the rumor about Steve/Patricia and Butler… that’s not a “good” reason at all but one I can see Bill being petty enough to enforce … and make Butler think the loss was his fault. I also can’t see Butler talking about that.

Calling me the troll is rich. All you haters do is crap all over the franchises beautiful history just to make your points. One tongue in cheek post to show how dumb your winning percentage point is and I'm the troll. You can f off with that BS.

Oh and here we go with another round of make believe from the we have to invent a way to pin that on Bill further. Your arguments are mostly made up bull crap so it makes sense you all always wind up doing it.

Malcolm was dressed AND played 1 play. This feels like a petty move by Bill and given his recent history, not entirely surprising.

Great suggestion: go back and reread the exchange.

I called the report ********, and I accurately pointed out that what you originally claimed (a player was told not to wear UNC) was very different from the report you posted (a staffer was told not to wear UNC).

I criticized the report and pointed out your inconsistency but didn’t say a single thing about you.

For some reason all of the above triggered you to the point of responding with personal attacks.

Now you’re being a ****y little cry-bully who started up with the personal attacks but whines that you received a few.

Notice how everyone came out against "The Dynasty" when they felt misrepresented but nobody disputed Kraft saying it was the first time Bill made a personal choice above the team. Anyways the initial reports were the right one, him and Steve had a personal issue that escalated to a fight
