Brady actually has a bunch of rules he has to follow since he's got minority ownership in the Raiders. He's not allowed to be in the pre-game meetings with teams and such.. I think he's also not allowed to Cover Raiders' games. If he was there, it could only be in the Owner capacity..
I don't know what rules are still in place but they just changed some to allow him more access to players and such before broadcasts.

Josh will have a brilliant offensive plan with our shiny new tools.
Doncha just know it. Payback is a *****.

Next time don't fire a HC while he is trick or treating with his family.

That's lower than Jerry Maguire low.

It's a good thing I don't bet, because I have no idea which team is going to win this thing. I can convince myself pretty easily of either outcome. Because I think our team really is in the process of getting better and has the advantage of a promising young QB and a very sound coaching staff, top to bottom, I think the Pats will win. Because it's pretty clear to me that aside from some serious weaknesses on defense Oakland has the better starting players, I think they'll win, though I suspect that might just be PTSD after our last few seasons, which have been a complete crapfest. I think Drake is going to be very good, but that this point, Oakland probably has the better QB.

So I picked Oakland, but I think I'm probably wrong. As I said, I have no idea who will win.

What a dumb post, eh?

PS: I just noticed that I called 'em "Oakland." Is there an award for worst post of the week?

After this game Pats fans will have a case of Bowers envy.

Chip Kelly is the OC for the Raiders?
Dude is experienced and has a quality QB now.
This won't necessarily be a Pete Carroll offense then.
Our D better be ready.
Brady put together this team... Kelly wore himself thin with the eagles.. this will be a rainy game feels like a game for rham today.

Despite my score prediction, Henderson has a much better day than Jeanty today.

Yeah, that's how I feel about this game. Sometimes I think the Pats will win and sometimes I think the Raiders will win, for the reasons you mentioned. I'm taking a Show Me approach to the Pats. I want the Pats to be at least a half-decent team, but I'm mostly refusing to buy into the "they're a better team" narrative until I see it in the games.

Team "wait and see" is where I am, and we've got a bigger clubhouse than people realize.

Lots of individual performances I’m super interested in today: Campbell, Maye, Henderson, Diggs and the receivers, Alex Austin and the safeties.

Win or lose I’m just glad Patriots football is back.

Wow, doesn't it feel like Shula was WAY older than Carroll when he was still coaching, and definitely Marv Levy... But you're saying both those guys were younger than Carroll but looked 10 or 20 years older??
