OT: Contests For 2025 (Update: Weekly Picks Contest is Open)

Just a quick note for anyone wondering, but these will all open on Monday:

I haven't finished testing these with the new board template, so I have to dig into that a bit over the weekend, but I'll let everyone know when it's all up and running at some point on Monday.

These are always fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this year goes. We always have fun with them (especially the picks and the predict the score contests), so definitely excited for things to get started.

fka the Suicide Pick'em Contest... The only Unofficial Contest® left standing... Last year was interesting... The Original Contest was an epic burnout, where everyone crashed and burned, with the winner being crowned in Week 3... Redemption was had in the very last week... there was a great turn out, more people than I expected... Hoping to build on that this year!

The Contest is Open to everyone who is a poster on these boards...

This year, starting sign ups a bit earlier than we have in the past... Sign up runs thru the start of the last game of week 1 (MNF 09/08...

Important note, for when this becomes live -- you must fill in the final question with an answer, or else none of your previous picks will register. (Unless that is different this season.)

The Weekly NFL Picks contest is up and running. However, I do have to add the ability for people to opt out. The new layout is missing that, so for those of you who fall into that category, I'll definitely fix that. Just hang with me for a bit.

Is there away to turn off that red announcement at the top of the page. I click not playing but don't see anything where the instructions tell you to look?
