the PS is a bit boring for now. we'll see who gets replaced.
but why not start with the guys you've been teaching for 3 months
Let me know when the Keystone Wheelchair Cop gets resigned.

How about a big wr? We have Hollins everyone else is 6-1 or shorter

I'm fine with signing rookies to the PS, guys like Bradyn Swinson who may need to get adjusted.

What perplexes me is when teams re-sign vets who haven't shown much.

DeMarvin Leal is a good example. A terror attack Texas A&M as a junior, was touted as a top 10 pick. Had a poor senior season, dropped to 3rd round (#84 overall by Pittsburgh in 2022). Did nothing in 3 years, cut. Wasn't picked up on waivers, now back on Pittsburgh's PS.

Best chance for a kid like this would have been a change of scenery, and probably scheme.

I'm happy Swinson came back. I liked the few flashes I saw. It wasn't a good as we wished when drafted, but we so often forget how players sometimes look "then" and 3 or 4 years down the road.

It also tells me how these kids look at the coaching, though obviously everyone's not the same. If it were me and they chose someone else, I'd GO somewhere else, but not if I thought they had a chance for me and I liked it there.

I think that well-regarded drafted players are on a 2-3 years cycle in the NFL. Most have 1-2 years with the team drafting them to put things together and produce. Injuries, coaching changes, schematic fit can all play a role, but ultimately a player has to eventually "get it" and produce.

3 weeks not enough to judge Bradyn Swinson, a consensus top 100 talent who fell to 145. He may end up getting it, he may not, but he clearly needs time to show what he's capable of.

Seems to be another Josh Uche, maybe he can improve.

DT Fabien Lovett, per Reiss.

Not a single person from another team was added. To this teams detriment.
I'm thrilled they were able to bring back Swinson, Conley and Dippre. The rest I couldn't care less. They have a need at pass rush, OL and blocking TE so they can help this team.

Good. Im usually only active during the off-season so im late to my hibernation stage lol

I just think CJ has some untapped potential. Perhaps im delusional but just give him a chance.

Current rules don’t allow bidding for PS players, so why would players from any team join a PS for a different team if the team that signed them and had them through camp wants them on the PS?

WOW. You just can't pick a side. Can you? You were all about Lichtenhan having "more opportunity" if he joined the Pats. Now, you've done a 180?

Baker not signed still to PS ??
