The other 2 QBs on the roster would kill for a 70% comp.
Not sure that was intentional or not but well played.Dobbs better go home and get his shine box.
Hopefully the Drakester isnt.Dobbs might be a little uncomfortable about that.
What if Baby Face struggles in year 2 ?Better neither play a single snap

Joe Pesci's character in "Goodfellas" name was Tommy DeVito.
In real life, the mobster's name was Tommy DeSimone.

Mini-fridgeUse him as a fullback
According to who? Have you read some of the horse $%@# that gets spewed on here daily. The Dobbs bashing has gone straight to ludicrous. Have you all forgotten he is jumping into a brand-new complex offense that relies on timing and defensive recognition. That Dobbs has had just 6 semi- live scrimmages where he got less than half the snaps. Maybe just 70/80 reps all told. And yet you want him (and Maye) to look as polished and smooth as Brady in his 5th year. This is just maddingly stupid. We are supposed to be among the smartest fans on the internet, NOT the Jet-like yahoos who yells "HE SUCKS" every time a play doesn't go perfectly
Now I don't know much about Dobbs as a player. By reputation he has been a decent back up who has won some games over the years in relief of an injured QB. No one is saying he is vying for top job. Just a guy who can come in on an emergency and not completely **** the bed. I am NOT even saying that Dobbs IS that guy. I don't know this early on and NEITHER do you. I'm just willing to wait a 1000 more reps or so before I start making draconian statements.
BTW- Tommy DeVito is a big improvement over Woolridge though he will likely end up costing a roster spot. It will be worth it. He is necessary for practice and will provide constant competition for the #2 by mid October when HE starts to get used to the offense. Nothing wrong with competition.
Actually, yeah.Anyone want Jared Stidham? I'm fine with Tommy DeVito.

Actually, yeah.
Yes, I always thought he had potential but never got a shot. Even Payton liked Bo Nix better. I wish someone would divulge what his negatives really are.Actually, yeah.
Had a great pre-season ( as did Devito) 70% completion and 8 td, 1 intYes, I always thought he had potential but never got a shot. Even Payton liked Bo Nix better. I wish someone would divulge what his negatives really are.
